Went round every engine in the sheds and ordered spare spark plugs for those I didn't have. Rock and roll.

I think 4 iridium plugs for my 10r were around the same price as your 14. :o

Just drove 8 hours straight from Edinburgh to home. Must say that Volvo make the most comfortable seats in a car ever.....

Comfiest seats I ever had were in in my Transit camper. Could drive 12 hours no problem :)

Transit seats are the most comfortable I've had as well, after that the Jag was a disappointment.

I drove the camper from Cadiz to Thame in 3 days.
Just stuck it on 55 and drove till 11:00. Parked up in a petrol station. Took dog for a quick walk. Glass of wine. Bed.
Up at 8:00

I just bought one too, mainly because it has the worlds most comfortable seats.

Actually I lied.

They're a close second to the sports seats in my SL.

But I couldn't afford another SL for the wife.

We had some very comfy seats when we went into a cinema in Amsterdam in 1992 :)

Same.
Well, they're in my Landrover Defender, but that's just a differently shaped Transit van.
I've never got on with the Van/Truck/Big high car seating position....dunno why, I just don't like the "sit up straight with a flat wheel" thing. I find my beemer with its "arse in the floor, legs out in front of you, vertical wheel" way way comfier.

My Mk2 Toyota MR2 had a lovely driving position. By far the comfiest car I've ever had, once you were actually in it.

The antithesis of the MR2 is the Gremlinette's Nissan Figaro. Considering the seats are big, plush leather things, after 20 mins your back is aching and your arse is numb.

Today I've spent most of the morning wondering if I'm imagining feeling the symptoms of the 'rona.

We went to friends on Saturday evening for a bit of nosebag and vino (pulled pork, thanks for asking). Much merriment was had and there was the usual hugs and handshakes when we left. We get a call Sunday morning to say our friends have tested positive for the Chinese lurgey.

Reading up on the regs now, my understanding is that I don't need to isolate, being doubled-jabbed, but should wait 3-5 days and then get a PCR test (I'm happy to be corrected here). Out of an abundance of caution, I'll restrict my going out to walking the dog for the next couple of days until I get tested and the results come through.

Mrs. Gremlin has a sore throat and a headache and as I sit here, I can feel the beginnings of a sore throat....or can I? Dunno.

S'wot the Consumer Association/Which always said. Volvo and Saab...must be a Swedish thing. Sat on my V70s seat for nearly 200k miles and, when I had a back injury I used to have to go and sit in the car...best ortho seat we'd got! Audi is quite good but I suspect most cars over a certain price are.

Worst seats in a car we've owned? Merc A Class (1st version) and Peugeot 305. Seat squabs on both were way too short. I needed physio after any long journey in the Peugeot...it was :angry-cussingblack: awful.

My old S60 D5 seats were lovely... like really really lovely. It was an epic car... that sadly had a few niggles in terms of suspension/handling/bushings/arms, otherwise i'd have kept it longer.

Worst were Kia Soul.. 90 mins was the max before needing to get out and walk.

When the V70 eventually got scrapped I was tempted to take the front seats out and do a 'Shed and Buried' on them and put them in the man cave.

Walked dogs on the beach, avoided the worst of the showers and now waiting for the timer to ding on the cooker for my GF pasty.
