You have no idea how thankful I am that:

A. None of our nice clothes were ruined in this wash, and that the only outcome is that we look as if we buy our tea towels from Brighton.

And

B. That it wasn't me who put the offending non-colour fast item in there.

My corduroy colour palette is limited to earthy hues, I'll thank you for asking. It includes taupe, mushroom, fired earth, terracotta, olive green, sandstone and potter's clay.

All with elasticated waist for comfort of movement.

(The offending item was that Desigual bag-for-life (colour-for-one-wash)).

Reminds me of wife's story about attending the Bath Festival (kind of precursor to Glasto, stonking line-up though). Mate's brother cooked up some rice, which turned out pink. Turns out he'd previously tie-dyed his T-shirt in the pan.

There is an Italian rolled pasta dish called rotollo. It involves laying lots of pasta sheets on a tea towel, filling with ricotta, spinach, etc then rolling up in the tea towel, tying up with string then boiling.

I may or may not have ended up with a slightly blue rotollo one day having decided that a new tea towel would be the wisest option for cooking it in...

The bloody thing took ages to fit. Probably twice as long as normal.
Super hard construction especially the sidewall.
It's the super dooper new Michelin with rave reviews.

Once fitted, egen with only 8 psi, couldn't press the tyre at all. Normally the treads move a but. Nada. Worried how it would ride.

Took it out today and instantly hated it. Felt like had 2 flat tyres and wouldn't turn. Could feel the stiffness so dropped it to 6 psi.
Nada.

Even on my fave routes it was horrible so came home early.

As a last resort I stopped at petrol station and upped it to 12 psi which is the recommended pressure. I run low for comfort reasons.

Blimey, what a transformation :D

Bit bumpy but rides lovely and got masses of grip.

Celebrating with a beer 🍺

Was thinking you marinade. I just discovered today Tetley tea is not gluten free :O I have been drinking it for years up to about a month ago. Apparently its the glue that seals the tea bag half's.

Not so much, but rubs and binders yes, hell you'll have to have the half that I set aside for the wife as she doesn't like rubs.

I can beat that... my girlfriend and I bought a bottle of cheap wine when we were students but couldn't find the corkscrew. I had the idea of smashing off the top on a stone window ledge and then filtering out all the glass with a clean handkerchief. This washed whatever they put in washing powder to whiten clothes in to the wine which gave us extremely sore throats for the next day. It felt like I'd have been better off just drinking the glass power.
