I don’t think cars need “running in” these days.
Certainly not company cars that get given back every year.

It does have some guidance buried deep deep in the user menus but you have to properly go looking for it. Don't bounce off the rev limiter during the first 1500km is as far as it goes.

It may be different for cars vs. bikes, but the last new bike I bought (KTM Duke 690 2017 MY), during the 'break in' phase, if you went above a certain rev limit the LED tacho bar turned red. Quite disconcerting the first time it happened. So I had to keep trying to see if it would do it again...

A mate that lives over the way (a couple of mountains over!) put this on my FB after a conversation of having to help the French learning English understand some of our phrases!!
