Can anybody explain why you'd not want a mixer tap? How are you supposed to wash your hands with one hot tap and one cold tap?

Because I'm a tight wad who doesn't see the point is wasting hot water washing hands. Bear in mid I wash them lots during the day because I'm in and out the shed.

I used to have one of them.

Supremely comfortable seats. Best of any car I've ever had I reckon. However the BMW I changed to did better mpg and had 50bhp more! Mostly cause Ovlov use tractor engines.

It's been bought for the comfort. by far the most comfortable of all the cars she sat in. It's the Cross Country, so it's on 40mm jacked up suspension which makes it ride even smoother than the standard V40.

It's a 2016, which is when they switched from using the Ford engines to Ovlov ones. It's a D2, so 2.0l, 118bhp. £20 a year to tax and apparently a real world 70mpg.

It's Geartronic too, rather than Fords Powershift, so should be uber reliable.

Yeah my D2 was a 1.6 litre Duratorq with 115bhp...ancient 8v thing.

After our morning enduro ride, we'd arranged for Hippy's new g/f to have a first ever ride on a bike. So she drove the mighty Duster to a safe area and Pen rode her 125.

Was cool as Hippy could talk to his missus using our helmets with intercoms.

She's now smitten and wants her own bike :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Cat sitting for four moggies!!! LOL But, benefit is that I woke up to this view -

Image

TBF, when I first woke up there was no cloud but by the time I remembered to take a pic, the valley had filled with cloud!!!

Then headed to Bourg as it was the mass exit of cows n sheep from the mountain and they all (probably not All!) get walked through the town with much celebrating. My friend with the cake/pasty shop usually does the market on Saturday morning but because of the démontagnée she stayed in the shop. By the time I got there at about 11 ish, she'd sold all the days pasties and sausage rolls and about half of the cakes :o :o :o :o Blooming awesome, but meant she was trying to make more sausage rolls and cakes and didn't have much time for anything else - so I did the washing up each time the sink started to fill a bit for a while! And minded the shop whilst she ran to the loo!!

So cool to see it all working for her :D :D

Was aiming to drive to my resort to collect a couple of things I need and got a call from a friend that he was just finishing the walk/hike to the take off point and I'd asked him to let me know when he was flying so I could go watch the landing. So I turned back and watched a load of mad fliers land their parapentes. Watch Xander land a bit quick!! TBF, it was a bit blowy - apparently it was the highest wind that he's flown in and probably shouldn't have gone up, but it wasn't so high when he set out!! I think he said he's only done about 30 ish flights so far. Most of the others landed very gently - although there were a couple of others that did worse than Xander

We had a good chat about flying after - he seems to be trying to be a bit more positive about me having a go!! LOL

Then home to get some stuff, back to cat house to chill, feed the tortoise (yes, there's a tortoise too!) and cuddle cats!! :D Strictly soon :D :D

Repeatedly stared at the 20 or so panels that need to be put back onto my Tmax so it can be ridden again. But, I really can't be arsed, despite wanting to ride it to work tomorrow!? :wtf:

By the application of ze leetle grey cells I have (I'm pretty sure) worked out what is tripping one of the RCDs on the consumer unit in what was, apparently, a random fashion. Yay me!

One more test to confirm it's the heating element in the washing machine....

Also went to Homebase and got some more loft boards and a box of loft legs. Needed a bucket too. By the till, buckets £1.96. Marv. Then find that includes sponge, cloth and a bottle of Turtlewax shampoo and wax...for less than a capuccino! The world's gone mad!

Do you mean Cappuccinos are expensive or that bucket is cheap? :hmmm:

Well, 500ml of Turtlewax shampoo and wax is £6.14 on Amazon so that's effectively, approx £4 with a free bucket, sponge and cloth thrown in. Sooooo....I'd say that's quite cheap. What else can you buy for £1.96?

Probably about 10 "penny sweets"

Yeah, 4 Blackjacks, 4 Fruit Salad and 2 'penny bubblies' or 1 Lucky Bag.

That's the second time I've spotted a near giveaway of something I actually need at the till 'impulse buys' at Homebase  (which is absolutely chocka with Ch***mas tat  ).
