a friend advertised a used bike jacket on FB, RST, 50 quid.
I spoke with him and we realised it would be too small.
but I had the bug then, so I went on ebay and bought a far superior (IMO) used KTM power parts jacket for ...... 50 quid delivered
It arrived in better condition than expected. very happy

Having experienced the father-in-law's driving the other week, of which Mrs. G thought I was exaggerating, it was reassuring to read her Whatsapp message describing him nearly taking another car out when changing lanes with the final comment, 'I've nearly shat myself a couple of times on this journey'. :o

In all seriousness, we might be having to have words with him. :(

According to the Ortho Doc I saw yesterday my hip/leg pain is not caused by the artritis in my hip - I've had a muscular injury for over 18months which 4 NHS physios have kept telling me is OA.

MRI scan soon which should pin down what the problem is

When I had OA issues with my knee, a (private) physio told me my back pain was due to alignment issues caused by my body making a natural shift in the way I walked to lessen the load on the affected knee. After the knee was replaced I had a gait analysis and physio and was advised that I basically had to teach myself to walk correctly again. IIRC core exercises and strengthening of the weaker side was required.

I don't recall, but converting one fizzy piss into another fizzy piss shouldn't qualify :flame:

Dono if its just Scotland but you get a 500ml bottle in Aldi for £1.65

Another good brewery in Englandshire is wold top. Linked is my favourite. Scarborough Fair is another good one. They do free delivery over a certain price but try a variety pack. You wont be disappointed.

Me too, but I draw the line at Pernod, ouzo, etc... anything anise flavoured.

Same. Also no tequila due to an 'incident' in my teens 😆
