Noticed I can buy a 2018 GSXS 1000 in Ride 4, so I bought a 2nd white/blue Gixxus last night and did a load of laps of Snet and Brands.

Judging from my performance I can confirm if I'm not hitting the thick end of 150 down the Snet straights I'm not doing it right. I can also confirm that if I ride like I do in Ride 4 then the bike is likely to be broken very quickly. In my first 11 laps of Snet I managed 1 without clipping the grass somewhere! Although to be fair that's more to do with Ride 4's weighted/no weight handling than me. Honest.

If your in Novice and doing 150 at Snetterton you'll be passing nearly everyone, I was faster than most people on an FZR400 that did 135 flat out.

Mine used to show 170 on the old back straight.

I used to be in the front half of inters but that was a long while ago. I think for evenings they only do Nov/Inter or Inter/Fast so I'll be in the slower group. Which actually worries me more. Only ever done 1 day in the Novice and found it a bit scary as the pace was all over the shop with the odd Fast group refugee, some people who probably should have been in Inters and some people who were so slow I'm surprised they didn't just topple over through lack of momentum!

Having said all that high 150mph was in Ride 4 and when I cartwheel the poor bastard riding it doesn't hurt me at all, sadly unlike the real world.

My 98 R1 got to mid 160s on the old back straight, but the old corner onto the straight was faster than the current layout, I was also a lot younger and braver on the brakes 22 years ago.

I was front half of Inters 20 years ago, now I'm more top of Novice / bottom of Inters, I'm not sure if I've got slower or everyone else has got faster, I suspect the latter.
