In a similar vein, when I worked at the airport I used to love the leftover in flight meals the electricians scrounged from the caterers. Especially the rubber cheesy omelette or maybe they were supposed to be scrambled, who knows?
I think there's something wrong with me I'll eat anything

Riding to work today, stopped at some lights, somewhat ahead of the ASL. Spotted two plod bikes pull up some way behind me. As I pull way they shoot in front of me and my first thought is that I'm going to get a talking to re stopping over the line. Instead they pull in front of me on my 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock and match my speed. This went on for a mile or so until we pull up at the next lights.
I pull level and joke to one of the coppers, 'For a while back there I felt like somebody very important getting a police escort'.
'That's why we did it, mate' he replies and laughs.

Possibly not happy, but amusing.
Phillip Island and TBA has just won his race. I’m up on the bank with hoards of Aussies waving the England Flag.
The bloke one side of me asks if Amos is Irish?
The chap to the other side asks if the flag that I’m waving is Welsh.
Half an hour of British history was then given.

Hospital tests.
As part of my ongoing problems, I was sent to an internalist doc for checks.
I had MRI, chest x-rays, full organ ultrasound and 71blood tests. Yes, 71.
All came back perfect. I expected some age related stuff, but absolutely nothing wrong me
Must try harder

I like that whilst working from home I can iron a shirt in my upstairs office and hang it in the wardrobe in the bedroom just in time to avoid my laptop changing status from 'Active' to 'Away'.

Get yourself a jiggler and you can do the whole basket of laundry, apparently so I've heard.

In our our Spanish lessons yesterday the 5 Morrocan girls brought in a big spread of their typical finger food as it's Ramadan this week.
Wowsers, such lovely food. Unlike anything I've had before

My wife's birthday today and she wants us to go to one of our favourite restaurants tonight. This pleases me greatly as its the only place we go to where i can get sardines for starter and Swordfish for main!

Wife goes in for spinal surgery after what feels like a five year wait. For up to eight weeks after, i am Chef, chamber maid, cleaner, pot washer, dog walker, evening entertainer and bread winner. Think i am going to need drugs

I've just seen Mr. Pigeon
He's a wood pigeon with a bum wing that's been around since we moved in here 12 -13 years ago, he was feared dead with no sightings over winter, but he's back again.

The feeling of freedom
Some friends are flying home today and we'd arranged a brekky in town at 10. Was gonna walk down.
10:15 got a call asking where I was. Hmm, I'd forgotten and was out with dog the opposite way. Oops.
Rushed home but Pen's out in car. Gasgas has both wheels out.
Jumped on the GSXR and pootled into town in t-shirt n shorts and parked right outside the bar.
Riding home it just felt great. Sod health n safety and standards for riding gear.
Feel the breeze
Perhaps I should have worn trainers as sandles don't change gear too well

Went ski touring with a mate this morning. We both suffer from the out of sight of other, definitely out of their minds issue here. Neither of us are into drinking particularly (not that we don't, just that it isn't the be all and end all), so we don't really fit. She's had quite a heft virus for a few weeks and I've spiralled down a bit the last two weeks and so we've been putting off going out for a couple of weeks since she recovered.
BUT - this morning we sorted ourselves out and went out. Not far or long, but damn it was good

Even though we picked a piste we've not walked up before, and probably won't again!!
No sunrise to speak of as it was cloudy, it even snowed a bit whilst we were deskinning the skis/board!
But, the mini tour and the coffee and chat after were bloody good for both of us!!
