It isn't,but I have good memories of my 90S back in the day. It wasn't the orange one,but a friend had one that colour,he put a sidecar on it ffs.
My old 90S lives just around the corner from me and the current owner (who is not a well man) tells me it'll be the last of his bikes to go. He's a man that knows the value of a quid,so no one is ever going to grab a bargain!

It was a good guess, because I'm about as far from a BM man as you could get,but I have a soft spot for the R90S and I probably would buy another if the price was right.

Ok,there were some on the money guesses and you know who you are. I think TinPan may have been the first direct hit,but as Mrs.TP said,he failed to follow through on the initial advance.

It has almost been fun.

The bike may be one of these.

Congratulations - you now have a dilemma, which one do I ride - blue or orange?

I was pretty sure it was a Kawa triple, but suspected it would have a different engine size. Wrong on that.

Yeah, the H1A and the H1B are very similar bikes,so one may stay longer than the other,we'll see what it's like to ride when it arrives sometime next week, hopefully.

I was interested in an H2B recently. It was from the estate of a local chap who died not long ago. I'm not the sort to be asking about his bikes at his funeral, but there were others who weren't as backwards,so it had been sold by the time I asked. Hey ho,not to be.At least I can still pretend not to be a cunt.

From what I hear the 500 is a nicer engine to doddle about on,the 750 can be hard to set up to avoid surging on a partial throttle, making them hard work if you are not always pinning it.

From what I remember the H2x bikes were more about bragging rights/corporate willy-waving than being a 'better' bike. I'd take an H1x all day long over an H2x.

Vultures circling over an H2B - who'd a thunk it... :D

3 people at my FiL's funeral asked me what was happening with his bikes.

I was tempted to tell people I'd already scrapped them. :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Still...if I ever do sell them I now have 3 people who will never get the opportunity to buy them from me :D

I'd do that too and be glad they outed themselves for what they are.

Sometimes its as well to ask about passed folks vehicles. Quite often they'll just approach a dealer and take whatever's offered, like house clearances*. Plus never forget the old saying, "I just hope my wife doesn't sell my bikes and bots for what I told her I'd paid for them"!

*My mate bought, nay stole, an old guys Triumph Stag and some other old car he as restoring when he died. When he was collecting them the widow said if you ant any of the tools etc please help yourself. He cam out with Snap on rollcabs, compressors, stands and just about every bit of garage equipment going. He did bung her some extra cash but she'd have let him have it all for nothing just to get it cleared out.

I bought a bicycle off eBay once, a Specialized Langster (paid a reasonable price, honest!). Turned out to be a widow selling off her husband’s bicycles. I spent a little bit of time with her giving her a rough idea of what to ask for them.

Congratulations on the new motorcycle.
