R100 BMW. Ex-police, total piece of crap. Can't remember who from VD bought it from me. Sorry.

GSX1100F with the electric screen and huge panniers. Never ran right, and handling was ponderous to say the least.

Like others here, I've owned many shitters, but knowing that made them less shit.

I've changed my mind over the Triumph, now I've got it set up as I wanted and the suspension is working well, i'm pretty pleased with it. Got a traffic free run on the A65 and A682 on Saturday late afternoon around Skipton /Gargrave - roads I road a lot during lockdown on the Guzzi and I have to say it was great, easy turn in, controlled forgiving suspension and that addictive mid-range surge made it a very fun hour 8-)

Taking the fairing off it was wise - it still gets to 70+ very quickly but it's so much noisier it makes me back off quickly :lol:

I'm even going to look at improving the rusty bits and bad paint and if a set of blue plastics ever show up in good condition at a reasonable price there's a good chance i'll be tempted.
