Somewhat less happy about the second match :( :(

But - if all goes well tomorrow I could get to watch that match!! Things rarely go to plan, but here's crossing fingers!! Weird to see those two at the bottom of the table tho!! So it'll be a more interesting match I reckon!! :angelic-green: :angelic-green:
Ireland played well, and it was good to see them win. They deserved it.

WTF happened to England? After spending the season playing dour, head down, unimaginative stuff they suddenly realised what the backs are good at.

I've only just stopped laughing.

Scotland yet again bottle it under pressure. Fair play to Italy they are playing so much better this year. I had thought that their RWC results might have harmed their confidence but they have been playing really well, and nice attacking rugby too.

I feel dirty for being pleased with England's win, but it was well deserved.

I don't know about today's match, it's an old cliche but it depends which France turn up. Surely they can't play as poorly as they have been for the whole tournament?

@Noggin - Championship is decided on points. In the event of two teams having the same points then the team with the better points difference wins. England would have to beat France by at least 84 points, which is unlikely ;)

Well that was embarrassing. Looks like we'll win the wooden spoon, and we had better get used to it.

I'm going to try to drown my sorrows now, I may be some time

No pressure for Wales. Just need a bonus point win with a lockout.
Really torn, Italy deserve a good season, solely on the rugby they've played. Wales deserve the rub of the green for once.
I do want a French win though!

Well, no update??

I for one was extra happy to see the Ireland result! :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

Sadly I wasn't able to watch the first or last matches so had to wait for the morning to find out if England had beaten France by enough to take the tournament!! LOL

Sooooo, my two teams did ok and I'm bloody chuffed to see that Italy are not wooden spoon winners for a change (big change!!)

I was pleased for Scotland but slightly confused that the lost 3 games but finished above Italy who lost 2 and drew one. But I guess Scotland scored more overall or something?

But, overall, pretty happy and a good tournament :D Next year could be even more interesting with Italy and Scotland being so much better over the last couple of years
