Forest was running beautifully, usual Kooks were out but a special mention to the posh school hiking party who decided that stopping for lunch should best be done on the blind exit of a trail and leaving a rucksack at the bottom of a very steep 6Ft roll in, which you couldn’t see until you were committed. “Words of advice” were offered.

Had a week in the Peak District, got out on the trail bike on my own and also with the missus, (longer but easier ride) and a nice hilly ride on the road bike.

Sat was Ebike run with ace trails, local stuff, beers, etc... awesome.

Past a random deer farm when exploring some trails we've not hit before. Again one of the benefits of the Ebike meaning you can head further out into places you don't usually make it to, opening up some options.

I then got up on Sunday morning and decided it would be a good idea to head to Newbury at 6am... i got about 50m into the ride and decided my legs thought it was a terrible idea after riding Sat... but carried on and 2.5 hours later got back home tired !!!

Oh epic, have an awesome time there.. very jealous. Well mostly, we're in Fort William this weekend but i'm not riding.

Out on the Eeb today as the internet is down in the village as well as the 4G/5G so it seems half the village have driven to Goring to the pub to work here. I'm on the bike though as it was sunny.

Won't be here long though as Mrs Weeksy has rocked up now and she won't want disturbing as she has proper work to do :D

That descent removed my mates rear mech with extreme prejudice last year, nearly ruined our day out😂

Nearly died at FlyUp today, great little place and fell foul of the one last ride trap and hugely cased a landing on the red trail Flowberone, forks clanged, headset clanged and fillings truly rattled!!!

Forest of Dean today, great place, not sure about the near vertical, rocky, rooty chute of Doom we went down that my mate neglected to warn us about but overall brilliant fun. More tomorrow.
