Websites that use the following:

In stock
Order in x hours to receive your item tomorrow

When the item isn’t in stock but they are happy to take your money and then confirm it’ll be ‘a few weeks before it is in stock, but don’t worry, we’ll deliver it the next day as soon as we have it’.

Thankfully, I don’t need it tomorrow And the delivery cost was included in the item price but that’s not the point, had they said, order now for delivery in 3 weeks time, they would have still had my business but without the aggravation.

My Sister rings and asks if I'll put a shed up for her as the cheapest quote she got from local handymen was £140. She tells me it's a plastic 6x3 shed made by BillyOh and the blurb says it's a simple construction for 2 people. I said of course don't pay anyone I'll pop over Sunday and do it. This thing must be the nastiest, cheapest POS I've ever seen. She had opened the box and put the panels in the garden ready for me, but I nearly started breaking them up thinking it was the protective packaging. 4 hours later we'd lost the light and I still hadn't got the doors on! Some brackets were missing pilot holes and had to be drilled and get ting anything to line up and stay i shape was almost impossible as some panels were warped etc. If anyone you know is thinking of buying one of these , stop them!

Emailed a company that makes bike jeans to ask if they do or have plans to do larger than the size on the site in ladies fit. They replied not yet. So I politely said that since most of my female friends struggle to get decent gear in larger sizes, maybe its a market that is worth looking into

she replied saying their biggest sellers are size 12 & 14 - then blocked my email address!!!!

Guess they don't want any business from girl riders over a certain size then

Had that with Screwfix (wankers) a few weeks ago, placed order for in stock DeWalt boots, a few hours later I get a text from selected depot telling me my order is picked and ready for pick up. Fair enough. I’ve spent almost 20 years struggling to find decent ladies bike gear in larger sizes (UK 22, 20, 18) as have a lot of my friends. But if the market is small, then I guess we have to wait longer. Downside is that many women have to resort to men’s gear because that does go to big sizes - but doesn’t fit well enough for me to feel safe/protected.
