A mate of mine had an Itom 50 (briefly) in the late 60s. He got rid when its dietary requirements became too onerous. Not really having learned his lesson, he then switched to an Ariel Arrow...

My mum had a Derbi Senda 50.
Unless you wear a dress and call yourself Brenda at weekends, you're not your mother
I had to ride it somewhere once, it was quick for a 50, but you were up and down the 6 speed box like a tap dancer. She bought it to replace the TS50X she had nicked. When she got bored of gears she got a Peugeot Treker and complained constantly about how slow it was.

Aermacchi is another one. I found myself looking at them when poking about on Ebay looking at Harleys. I half fancy an SX250.

OI!
I'd not heard of a bike called a "JAP", and I'm not sure if there were any bikes made under the J.A.P. brand name, (except for collaborations like Excelsior J.A.P.) so I'm just seeking clarity here!
FFS, J.A.P. They actually made complete bikes for a few years, but mine was a grass tracker with an Elstar frame etc. It had a rather comical rear brake which consisted of a bicycle type rim brake lever doodad, but with what looked like 1in rubber sink plugs that gripped (HA!) the rear sprocket.
It met it's demise when a barn collapsed on it.
Do you write B.S.A. or BSA/Beezer? A.J.S. or AJS/Ajay? etc

I'm sure we've had at least two Sunbeam owners!
Eman from the VD and I think TRC days had his dads S6 (I think) Sunbeam. He didn’t register here as far as I know

I owned a CZ. It affected me deeply for many years but I thought I had got over it, until you reminded me.

When I worked for BT one of my colleagues used to race Itoms. He had a DKW split single too.

Urals, or any of the clones, unless it was a clone of one of the others. Dneiper or the Chinese ones.

Had 3 Bultacos at one point, part of a "all or nothing" deal when I went to buy some KZ1000 side covers & came home with 5 truckloads of bikes & parts (there were 17* pretty much complete bikes). By some great fortune there was a bloke just 4 or 5 doors away down the street who collected them so off they went.
*:
3 Bultacos
KZ550, 650 & 1000
2 XT550's
CB72, CB77
CB750F2
RD350
RM80
Early KX250
CL/SL 250/350's
Sale of the Bultacos & the Honda's covered the $1000 outlay.

Ah, right ok. I didn't know that.

I just wanted to be certain because I'm sure you can guess what would happen if you googled "JAP motorcycle"

I've got a BMW with a Ural chair fitted, so I'm half there.
I see Ariel got a mention.
Has anyone owned a Bohmerland or a Rokon?

Was that the Swedish V twin that was two Husaberg top ends on their own bottom end?

I've remembered the Dutch diesel bike, the Track T-800CDI. Used a Smart car engine IIRC.
