I can't disagree with any of the above. I had mine for about a year and, from memory, did just over 3k miles as I had other bikes too.
It was a good solid all-rounder, I could get close to 200 miles from a tank - iirc it averaged 53-55mpg - safe handling, if a little ponderous as it was a long old beast but the engine was very strong, especially given the berries.

Why did I move it on so quickly?... It never really got the juices flowing, had no real personality and, to my mind, was the motorcycling equivalent of its four-wheeler cousin the 535d.

As a dependable mile muncher/continental tourer it was ace, apart from the standard panniers...as said above, they were barely good for a long weekend.

Just my 2p worth.
