Re: Taz McKenzie?
I did wonder if he might get a run out with both of the teams Superbike riders injured to various extents. He needs to shine on it as soon as possible to hopefully get the attention of the Superbike paddock or even the higher ranked WSS teamsYorick wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 11:46 am I wonder if they'll give him a stock road bike

Re: Taz McKenzie?
And didn't realise the team was Moriwaki. One of the best Jap tuning firms.
So why are they so down on speed.
Unlimited money. Unlimited tuning skill.
The team owner lady is obviously super passionate.
Just give him a decent engine.
He was a bit lucky as a few other riders on slicks were so much faster

Well, her name is Moriwaki yes, but that's it, she seems to have spent time at the engineering company back as a kid, but there was no talk of her/them being heavily involved right now.Yorick wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 10:14 pmAnd didn't realise the team was Moriwaki. Clearly he's a decent rider and handicapped by a crappy performing bike... but he knew this before he went there. The last time anyone won on the bike was half a lifetime ago... Why, because it's a crap bike in WSS... that's why no-one else rides one. So crap bike, crap support, crap engine....
If he wants to do better... he really needs to leave the team i think.

Re: Taz McKenzie?
I seriously doubt if Moriwaki have unlimited resources, they make money out of selling noisy exhausts for CB400s, they're not a huge company.

Re: Taz McKenzie?
Depends on what series he wants to contest
If a rider is getting better results than other ther teams in the paddock expect then he'll get noticed.
If he leaves the paddock for another series then he won't get noticed..

Re: Taz McKenzie?
He did well at Suzuka, the team he was in were 4th, they had some electronic issues in the first hour that lost them a load of time, they might have been 2nd without that, but there was no beating the HRC bike, it was the quickest bike in a straight line, and it was good on fuel.
