We (Isabella and I) decided to stay close so we can enjoy any socials on Saturday night and not have too far to drive back- she won't be drinking.

We're booked into a place called The Adeline Guest House- a B&B in Pembrey village itself just off the main road and 5 mins from the circuit. Don't think that there is any secure parking as such there, but you'd be welcome to either leave your bike in my van overnight, or at the circuit with the boys and get a lift to and from Mrs Miggins with us in the van if you want

Dithering about this since I've got to square up some family stuff but otherwise up for it...

So, the annual party in the park ain't far away now and I was just wondering what our loyal contingents will be riding. I'm aware of a couple of mt09s that will be circulating and a white zx6r, but what else we got then, any changes from previous.

I assume tricky will be on the zx6 but I'm assuming he's bringing @2xtwins 890R for me.

No idea what Dern is on

Just booked this. I'll be there Fri, Sat and Sunday. Sam and Dewi are booked on the Sat and Sunday. They've booked direct on the Phil Bevan site.

You assume correctly- currently, I'll defo be bringing the green bike, possibly something else, who knows eh - as for the 890, well , currently the big man isn't coming ( although Isabella hasn't finished trying to annoy him into coming yet, so that could change ) - there would be space in the van for the 890 but you'll need to liaise with the big man directly for that.....

I'm slightly embarrassed to report that Pembrey will only be the second day that the ZX has made it out of the garage this year, but to try and get back on track ( ) , I've just booked a 2-dayer at Cadwell for the week following Pembrey, which will, of course, include at least one visit to the Helal Tandoori along with plenty of beer and laughs in the throbbing party town that is Louth

Usual for me, pack up the Multistrada with all my camping and riding gear and head down for the 750 ish (depending on which non motorway route I take) mile round trip. Arrive and strip it down of luggage and stuff and track it

Booked in for its 22500 mile service before I head down and probably a new set of sports touring tyres as the current ones would “probably do” so why spoil the day and fit new pads all round

Yep, no plans to go this year as I only get back from a family holiday on the Wednesday and am on Grandaddy Day Care duty on the Friday.

As to the 890r, yep, that's possible

I didn't ride last year. Can't see me even considering it this year when you consider the fact I've not sat on a bike.

That's exceptionally kind of you @Dodgy69 but i'm not convinced i'll take you up on it in honesty. I generally peak after about 3 laps anyway lol. I get all excited, go out, then after 3 laps i'm like "oh yeah, same again, same again, gear change, turn in, brake a bit"....

Looks like @Welsh Muffin will be doing the Friday as well as the Sat. Although i don't think we'll camp over on the Thurs, but more likely we'll do an early start on the Fri morning and rock up for sign-on. It's a little easier now having our own van as we don't need to worry about the expense of hiring for the extra days etc.

I've just spent some time cleaning, sorting and prepping the ZX6, getting the road mirrors and bits off it, giving it a once over, lubing the chain, checking pads, tyres etc.... So i think we're good to go for Silverstone next Monday now, which will be it's first time out since Pembrey last year.

Mate, you know there will be a choice of bikes for you to have a session on, mine included, should you decide you want to have a run out. Bring your gear and if it stays in the van so be it. If not then have a day as a bike tester
