Oh good on your impeccable taste good sir! One way to do it is to thoroughly enjoy doing it! Top choice and I hope it gives you huge smiles/miles and you rediscover that biking urge! You have plenty of mojo, but just enjoy riding it!

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

My calibration is from the late 90s / early noughties when all / most manufacturers quoted dry weights.Skub wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:04 amDo you ride a bike with no fluids?MyLittleStudPony wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:00 amWon't that be wet? Most quote a kerb weight now which I think is one of the reasons bikes seem heavier, along with emissions stuffMyLittleStudPony wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 2:49 pmMy calibration is from the late 90s / early noughties when all / most manufacturers quoted dry weights.Skub wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:04 amDo you ride a bike with no fluids?MyLittleStudPony wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:00 am

I think there has to be a new name for any bike that you own.
My suggestion is 'y-fronts'

I thought the Tmax buyer had gone cold on me, but I;m guessing he is a doctor or suchlike as he's agreed to pick it up from my work as he'll be at two different hospitals next week and would suit collecting it from my work place !
So I'll be cashed up, and have a pocket full of pretty green to spend on the Ducati machine!

Re: NBT: Sexy red beast has been bought and heading my way!
Having a nightmare with the insurance on this. I must have the two most expensive bikes to insure ffs! My current insurers won't add the Ducati to my Tmax policy. So to take out a new policy for both is £1600!
But then I get back £512 from the £600+ Tmax policy although they will even do a no cancellation fee! But, even then it looks like the Ducati is going to be around a grand to insure!
Individual quotes from coamparethemarket seems to confirm this. The girl said 12000 miles a year is a lot for a bike policy and that wont help?
I'm waiting on a quote for a single bike policy where they will mirror my NCD as they think that will bring the policy price down as multi bike policies are often loaded. WTF is them point of them then?

Without putting you off a bike you want.... TBH if it was £1000 i simply wouldn't own it.. I have been massively offended when it's £200, let alone 5X that !!!!
