I really think Dorna should grow a pair and change the rules with effect from Jan 1st 2024 that aero devices are banned. It's becoming an expensive arms race, it's demonstrably inhibiting close racing and it's making the bikes too fast for a lot of the circuits they're racing on.

I'm not saying it would be easy to frame the rules, but that's what Dorna are paid to do. There could be exceptions for parts like the rear wheel scoops that are mainly to cool the tyre, and brake ducts would be allowed if they have no aero influence, but we're heading down the path of F1 and I don't think too many people want that.

Still not having the 'cool the tyre' thing.... the rider can do that by going slower at the right times :)
