Theatre, gigs, shows, etc. Watcha got booked for 2023?
Re: Theatre, gigs, shows, etc. Watcha got booked for 2023?
Yesterday my friend and I went to an event with Dame Judy Dench, her daughter Finty Williams and Grandson Sam which was very enjoyable with them giving anecdotes and then a Q&A after.
Probably going to the Ballet in March at the Royal Opera House.
Have tickets to see Hans Zimmer in Budapest in June and also possibly planning to see Ludovico Einaudi in Girona.

Tried getting to see him last year. Only tickets I could see were in Milan and they were eye-watering, not even thinking about flights and accommodation.

I wouldn't even look out of the window if that miserable bastard was performing on my lawn.

A bit of a cock? The fucker tells people to leave his concert if they don't agree with his politics. Fuck him.

Kid Kapichi were excellent last night at Koko ,love that venue too. The second support band were aces so nice to add a new band to the list at the end of a top night out. The bass player is a total loon. Recommended.
Due to the rail strike had to drive to High Barnet and get a tube, my older brother surprised me by turning up without telling me he'd got a ticket and as the Mrs was driving and no worries about Trains to catch we stayed out fairly late drinking. Got a fat head today
Thinking of booking Goldie Looking Chain tickets and that band Snayx are playing St Albans as a support so might do that too

I keep seeing his Sheffield gigs advertised, let us know if he's any good or if it's just a gimmick.

From what I’ve read the lead singer acknowledged he’s a shit Elvis impersonator, but by all accounts it’s a great night out.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 11:03 amI keep seeing his Sheffield gigs advertised, let us know if he's any good or if it's just a gimmick.

Are you from the Lincoln area Scud? You’ll have heard of “The league of Mentalmen” then I’m sure.

I’m near Spalding and Boston rather than Lincoln, and I have never heard of them, but about to investigate!

The Damned in Brighton in April. First saw them live in 1979 at the Kinema Ballroom in Dunfermline, supported by the Ruts, and many times since then.
