Didn't believe it myself TBF. Cleaned the mountain bike today, does that count?

What are peoples thoughts on using snow foam to clean bikes? I've got some Pro Kleen snow faom which states in contains a "high quality wax". I was concered about the effects this wax would have on my disks and tyres, as in stopping and leaning over. The disks I can clean with brake cleaner afterwards but what about the tyres and is it necessary. Had a quick Google but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

It's good stuff. I use it with a hosepipe lance.
Snow Foam is a generic term really. There's lots of different brands and fluids with various properties. You need to get the one that's right for the job.

Try these guys. Tell them your requirements and they'll steer you in the right direction.

Bought quite a bit of stuff from them. They don't just sell valeting supplies, they valet prestige cars as well so they know their products.

I use the Valet Pro Advanced PH neutral fluid. It's at least as good as the best spray-on bike-specific gels like S-Doc and Rhino etc.

Between £3 to £5 at the jetwash on the way back from Tricky's. Then dry it off by riding home.

You should try that garage just by Trickys, the one at the mini roundabout at 3 mile cross, it's a proper all singing all dancing one, very nice.

I always use GTechniq Citrus snow foam (Mr OCD recommended it years ago on TRC). it doesn't include a wax but it certainly loosens all the crap really well so a rinse after is all you need on all but the shitiest parts which you'd use a de-greaser on anyway.
