Pietin's got a Honda (which isn't much like the other manufacturers bikes).

Apart from that they seem to be sticking with tried and tested. African Twins, Blades and Goldwings (top of the range = £32k  ) etc. They're probably spending the R&D budget on battery powered options.

If that was the CB1000R, I'd buy one if they changed how it looks, though £15K for a new one is a bit high.
Fireblades are very good, but sadly the CBR650 and CB650 are a bit poorly finished for how much they cost.

But somebody must be buying Hondas, the shop near me stays in business.

Technically my wife owns it and I didn't buy it. :D
So does she ever ride it? And whose name is on the V5C? 8-)

Modern day Honda make bland bikes for bland people and they're not even all that good.
Sometimes I put butter AND marmite on my white toast, so nurrrrrr.
I wasn't aware you even owned a modern-ish Honda motorcycle. But if the cap fits...

Wife is registered owner and keeper. The V5 also has her name on, right after her Dad's...2 owners in 53 years!

She can't ride though, doesn't know how

Before anyone says it: insurance is in my name but they know its her bike and she'll get the money on any claim.

Most folk are judging by the base, budget bikes, built to a price. Two wheel Mondeos.

Let's go look at the top quality jobbies.

So out of a community of how many (?) we've established that 3 people might own a recent (ish) Honda. This probably isn't a representative sample of the wider populace, but as the original question was only directed to this forum, 3 out of God knows how many is all we can come up with.

The defence rests its case m'lud... :banana-dance:

Based on the current line ups then they are all joint last, no 2T engines.

Over the years I've owned more Hondas than other brands, mainly because they were predictable and that's what I needed for day to day transport. Now I buy them for frivolity that's pretty much irrelevant.

I own 4, two Yamahas, a Kawasaki and a Suzuki, I've also got another Yamaha frame and another Yamaha engine.

All of my bikes were made in Japan, some of the latest Hondas and Yamahas are made outside of Japan, possibly Thailand or China.

Currently there's a TDR250 that I need to put back together, a working DTR200, a working XR125l and a scrap Aprillia RS125 that I need to break for spares.

So 50% Japanese, 25% Brazillian and 25% Italian.

I own two, but the youngest (VFR750) is 34 years old and the 350LC is 42 years old.

In nearly 50 years biking I’ve never actually owned a Honda. Although to be fair some of you change bikes more in a week than I do in 5 years.

Oops my mistake I forgot about my VFR 400.

I’d had bikes since my teens but marriage and kids put paid to them.

First think I did when I split with my ex was go out and buy the VFR.

Ah that felt good.

Haven't had any jap bikes for years, think the last one was a vx800 which was enough to put anyone off motorbikes for life.
Just scanning the various websites I recon my wish list would be in this order:-
Honda - Africa twin
Suzuki - Gsxr 1000r phantom
Yamaha - xsr900
Kawasaki - z900r
But in reality even with a lottery win only the Africa Twin would get considered.
