2009 Ducati Multistrada S project, now with a 1098 superbike engine and the large portion of the singularly most epic hand crafted aluminium petrol tank. Started the project nearly 3 years ago, engine's been in the frame for 18 months or so now but the petrol tank has been a fucking saga beyond belief. The standard plastic tank doesn't fit over the rear cylinder head and airbox. Had a go at modifying/fabricating a steel 999 tank myself and then realised it looked shit, then got let down by two supposedly reputable motorbike specialist fabricators who promised me faithfully they could make an aluminium tank that looked factory (one didn't do anything with it for the best part of 6 months so I reclaimed it and the other drastically underestimated the complexity/cost/time involved and bailed out on it about 40% of the way through) so now doing it myself with the assistance of a non-motorbike specialist fabricator. Probably lost the best part of 18 months to the tank. Hoping to have it on the road this year, but we'll have to see what the whole coronavirus situation does to that....
An SV650 based project, too many modifications to list here. In boxes in the storage unit. Pretty much relegated to being a retirement project now...

2010 Street Triple
2006 Honda CBF 600
Old Guzzi project
Street Triple was bought at the end of last year and I love it, really look forward to getting out on it. Brilliant.
Honda probably for the chop, thought I could keep it and it would offer something different from the ST but tbh I only want to ride the Triumph.
Guzzi is a cafe racer project I got from a workmate, not even cracked a nut yet after a couple of years sitting. Maybe this year......

One on the road & two 'projects'...
675R Street Triple,it's actually on a SORN at the moment,I'll tax it as soon as we're allowed to get out on them again.

A 1985 Jap spec FZ750. I've had it since 1991,been rebuilding it over the last 2 years,I just need to get the forks done & couple of parts powdercoated that I forgot to get done when I got the frame & wheels done.Problem is with this Chinese Bat Flu & everything shut down I cant get the parts coated or tyres fitted.

When I get the FZ750 finished I can then start on the other project,a 1986 XT600.I bought it as a basket case in 2009 & rebuilt It.It was a proper dog & I spent to much money on it but I Like it. When I rebuilt it one of the few engine components I didn't replace was the crank & it appears to have snapped it over in the Isle of Man the other year

It's currently under a sheet in the garage..

CB500X 2015 21,000 miles.
It sounds like and egg whisk. It goes like a Morris Minor. But oh boy is it fun.
It's light, beautifully balanced and very comfortable. It gets to all speed camera speeds quickly enough. And it's taken me to southern Spain and northern Italy at 70 mpg. Where it really excells is Welsh ( or Scottish ) single track roads, with Avon TrailRiders on it copes well with dirty roads.
What more can an old fart ask for ?

A desk
For medical reasons, biking (even bicycles) days are gone. I always said I'd only stop when a Dr told me to - but, as it was, I'd already realised by the time she said so.
The BMW R850RT is still in the garden, will be up for sale soon as 'spares or repair', as it's not turned a wheel for a few years.
Man,that's a bitch. What will replace bikes as a 'pastime'?

Not going to list all of them, as not all are fully operational or even in one piece but the ones that are currently road legal and being ridden (in order of how much action they've seen lately ) are KTM 525EXC, KTM790 Duke (soon to be replaced by 890, if it ever arrives), RD350N1 and Kwak H2
Pics of the H2 please.

That's the one! I'd already ridden the Applecross peninsular clockwise from the south going up the pass but I'd done it early morning and pretty much had the road to myself.
When the pic was taken I'd just come through Glen Torridon and thought I'd have another go at the peninsular the other way round riding down the pass. But I only got as far as this cottage when I got stuck behind several cars towing caravans - probably going on to create a horrendous snarl up in the pass, the twats, so I though sod that, pulled in to take a break and admire the view and turned round and went back by another route.

I bought a Kawasaki Z1000SX Tourer in September, great bike. Not had much chance to ride it since so it's still only done 700 miles and needs it's first service. Not much chance of that happening any time soon
