Droppers are a tricky subject - I've found for me, the Bikeyoke Revive has been brilliant, used all year round and very easy to service. Many droppers get sticky in winter when the temp drops. Fox droppers work well, Reverb's OK and Bike Yoke.

Common factor is price - these are more expensive that most, another - get what you pay for scenario.
