Having worked in HKG for the last 13+ years and can honestly say the locals do love their ‘bright’ trainers, with rather thick soles and often buying 2 pairs of totally opposite colours and wearing one of each, makes for great viewing on the MTR in and out of the city.

Me, well mine are bland by comparison, usually well ventilated due to the summer heat when hiking.
