On high res music it's absolutely sensational. Cant quite believe what im hearing. I spent some time treating the rear wall and ages pulling the speakers around the room.
The babyface is insane.
Tidal is high Res but because windows doesnt change properly between tracks so use audirvana and it works very well. Spotify is low res. They are missing a trick as the interface is great.![]()

The only time I can ever tolerate my own singing is at motorway speed in a crash helmet.Trinity765 wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 7:57 amMe neither. Music makes me happy. Happy is a distraction.
For me it's not a case of following or really listening to the music, it's just there in the background taking up minimum cognitive abilities and drawing as little attention as it can, until an absolute banger comes on and you wind the wick up and RLAC for 3 minutesTaipan wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 9:30 am I'd have liked to have listened to LBC talk radio on my ride in but can't follow that either. Maybe because i'm commuting in heavy traffic as opposed to wafting along country back roads?
I imagine a 50s ballad might have a different effect on your riding to Firestarter!MrLongbeard wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 10:15 amFor me it's not a case of following or really listening to the music, it's just there in the background taking up minimum cognitive abilities and drawing as little attention as it can, until an absolute banger comes on and you wind the wick up and RLAC for 3 minutesTaipan wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 9:30 am I'd have liked to have listened to LBC talk radio on my ride in but can't follow that either. Unbridled screaming with facial contortions is great release when riding, but it can bring you to the very brink of madness!Trinity765 wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 10:34 amDrifting slightly off topicgremlin wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 9:27 amThe only time I can ever tolerate my own singing is at motorway speed in a crash helmet.Trinity765 wrote: Fri May 08, 2026 7:57 am

I have found that screaming, proper roaring as loud as I can, shouting and singing helps me keep warm when I'm riding
