Re: New Year's Resolutions?
Back on topic…
I resolve to run at least 3 half marathons, all of which are booked with the first in just over 8 weeks time…
Middlesbrough in March, I’ve also got Sunderland in May and Great North Run in September, ideally I’d like a couple of similar distance events between May and Sept to keep up the distances and hopefully reduce race time.
I also resolve to maintain my weight in the 90 - 100 kg range, ideally towards the lower end of that range. I’ve crept up to 100kgs over last few weeks but I just need to get my head back in the game and monitor what I’m eating regularly.
I’d like to pass three work related exams which would get me my fellowship of the institute and give me a specialist qualification nobody else has in the firm I’m at, however, I’d be happy to just nail one or two this year, as I’d like to be able to support my paraplanner in gaining her chartered status if possible.

Re: New Year's Resolutions?
Gonna reduce my booze intake. Try and get near the 14 unit's limit.

Re: New Year's Resolutions?
It's not an easy task, but I reckon with a few lifestyle changes, getting out instead of sitting in on a night, indulging in a few more hobbies, etc.. I could probably get mine down to 14 units a day too.Dodgy69 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 5:47 pm Gonna reduce my booze intake. Try and get near the 14 unit's limit.![]()

He’s currently not replied. I won’t read any more into that though.

Re: New Year's Resolutions?
Tried that. Not been in contact for 10 years.
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.
