And as has been said by others, unisex changing rooms are quite common, and don't concern me in the slightest.
Same.
Unlike the woman I tried to share one with the other day. Honestly, you'd think she'd never seen a fat, middle-aged bloke struggle into a pair of Speedos before...
Maybe using the expression, 'Room for a little one?!' was slightly disconcerting.

I suspect that trans women would be more at risk using men's facilities than women would be from them using women's facilities..
So, people who are born male, and have transitioned to female, are using the ladies’ facilities, to avoid male aggression.
I think there’s an irony there.
FTFY.

I also find it ironic that the posters on this thread with anti-pronoun/anti-trans views/trans-female concerns are male, whereas I'm female and totally fine with it all.

Yes. Some quite famous. J. K. Rowling, Sharron Davies and Riley Gaines are the first names that come to mind.

Of course there are. A lot of them do seem to be from the 'God thinks it's bad' brigade, and lesser educated folk.

I think you'll find the first two categories have plenty of folk on the 'fine with it' side.
And the third category is a shitty exception. You can always find exceptions, it doesn't mean the overarching principle is wrong.

Not a huge proportion of the female population though, is it? Again, I observe most of the issue to be taken by older men.

That's all very well but it becomes my business when they insist I have to believe their delusion.
The only thing you are being asked to do is treat them with a modicum of respect.
Is that really too difficult?
The number of times I've encountered the 'preferred pronoun' situation? Nil, zip, nada, a big fat zero*. A lot of people that are getting 'proxy agitated' about what they read rather than anything that actually affects them.
* Possible exception - A coffee shop in Guildford has a blackboard with mini-profiles of the staff - favourite drink, music, unusual skill etc - they're all young, exotic types with some quite startling hair colours, nose piercings etc (Chichester one appears to be staffed accordingly but no board iirc).
On the board it also has preferred pronoun. So far they've all been 'he' and 'she' exactly as you'd expect from a brief observation.
I am a trustee for a Multi Acadamy Trust with 9000 pupils. It doesnt present as an issue, I am sure if I looked hard enough I could find someone transitioning, but they dont seem to have a problem and the vast majority of the kids just accept that {insert prefered name} is a bit different. That's all it takes, live and let live. No hurt, no foul.

Lesbian bars and lesbian online dating are a thing of the past, because of men in frocks, so I’m told. Quite happy to hear differently though.

Our local gay bar, The BackDoor, was firebombed many years ago & reopened as a rock & roll bar. Went to see a friends band play there one night & clientele looked like regular bar customers... apart from the one cowboy in mascara who appeared to be wondering WTF was going on.
Cops arrested the guy who lit it on fire & got a search warrant for his house, looked in the garage for arson materials.... but found it packed to the roof with lathes, mills, drill presses etc.
Turns out the guys dad was a comptroller at Edwards AFB & had been stealing machine tools for years, which he'd sign off as scrap. Then a mate would pick them up from the Base & drop them at his house.. where they were sold from.
Father & son both went to jail.... I bet Christmas was a bit awkward...

Well, that's an opinion. Apparently, not even your own opinion, just one you've lifted from somebody else.
I get the impression that any opinion that differs from your own must be held by people "from the 'God thinks it's bad' brigade, and lesser educated folk". How bloody arrogant.

Its the way of the world that whiney old cunts piss and moan about "The youth of today" and then the youth of today do it about the next younger generation when they're whiney old cunts as well.
Then they blame it on <Insert pet hate> with fuckall evidence that its got anything to do with it.

There’s a converse way of the world, that people who are about to experience aging, write stuff like that.

Hardly.
More like slightly less embittered by the experience.

Anyone who really can’t or doesn’t use metric units, isn’t doing much measuring. It’s more likely they’re pretending, just to argue with you.
Even if you’re fixing steam engines, you’ll be using components and fasteners made from metric stock.

I learnt the metric system at school. I'll happily use whichever I fond most convenient.
Distance: miles,
Length, width etc: Whatever seems sensible. If it measures exactly a foot I'm not going to say it's 30.5(ish) cm,if it's a meter I'm not going to say it's 3ft 9.5(ish)in
Weight: kg (the scales can measure metric and Imperial but metric's the default so that's what I use.)
Liquid measure: Pints, fluid ounces, litres, ml

That may be true. But we're still here. And old people will be here for a long time. (Not the same old people, but as some drop out of the system they'll be replaced by new old people.
