Changing the subject here, but last week I met up with an old mate at Dinkies diner in Shrewsbury, I did put a pic up. I forgot to mention he's got 6 bikes and had arrived on a K1200LT. Jeez they're huge. Think he said it weighs 360 kg, Think GS is 240 ish.
It's got an auto centre stand, well you'd have a job lifting it. Top box got a little vanity mirror and a light. He's been all over Europe on it and says they'll do 300k miles, solid motor.
Never really seen one before. Anyway, carry on...
