How much developed nations owe developing countries for global warming?

So the poor countries get all this money. What do they spend it on that will help reduce climate change or whatever. ??

Presidential planes, so they can go to COP30+ in style.

Plus a slice in the Swiss bank account just in case.

Of course the privileged old white men who will have to pay won't like it; but they've benefitted from decades of environmentally unsound practice and it's time to pay the piper.

Wealthy countries have pledged to provide the $300 billion (£239 billion) annually by 2035 to poorer countries to help them cope with the increasing threat of climate change.

It’s not near the full amount of $1.3 trillion that developing countries were asking for, but it’s three times the $100 billion a year deal from 2009 that is expiring.

Delegations said this deal is headed in the right direction, with hopes that more money flows in the future.

“Everybody is committed to having an agreement,” Fiji delegation chief Biman Prasad said as the deal was being finalised. “They are not necessarily happy about everything, but the bottom line is everybody wants a good agreement.”

But the unhappiness among delegations about the deal was clear, with India negotiator Chandni Raina calling it "a paltry sum" saying India could not accept it.

Nigeria’s Nkiruka Maduekwe, CEO of the National Council on Climate Change, called the deal an insult and a joke.

It contributes a huge amount. To the pollution and carbon dioxide.
