Paying for return postage for a wrongly listed ebay item. What boils my piss more is the shit page after page you need to click on to kick up a stink. I gave up long ago and started to use the contact us page for the hard of hearing. You tend to get an answer from a human withing the hour. Amazon is just as bad. Item today was marked as delivered when it was not. The correct page says people tend to find there item within 24 hours and i should try looking in safe areas then start asking the neighbour. I have a sat nav in the work van what the volume is fecked. I always have them set at a glance rather than turn the head and can quite happily never use the volume here or on my euro travels.

I tend to use the graphic tbh. When it says '3rd exit' it (logically) doesn't include the entrance only bits and some roundabouts are quite complex. Easier just to look and get the picture in your head. Started using the TomTom app recently...quite impressed with the info presentation.

Needs something that mutes the missus at complicated bits though.

The latest systems have augmented reality combined with external cameras. Some even have a head up display with a fighter plane style box which pops up on the windscreen with your "target". Works better than you'd think!

I hate the vocal on the GPS (TBF< I only use Googlemaps at the mo, on my phone) - I struggle to judge a distance in figures, so when there are a few turnings and the machine says turn left in 250m, I have no idea which turning to take! I've only ever used it by glancing at it - which even worked on the Monster the other day without an actual holder!!! (Found the map pocket for my tank bag )

I find Google maps as a sat nav shit and would only use it if stuck. Seriously get a cheap XGody and try it as it has a cracking software called iGO Primo what is pleasing on the eye, English Kate Voice is only a nagging cow when speeding and unlike Google you can set to fastest or shortest or even scenic route. Turn on/off Points of interest. You dont need data unless you want live traffic. OK you can use google without Data but that means dicking about downloading rather than get up and go.

It's not ideal, but I mainly use it for traffic jams or long trips so haven't bothered with anything else for a while. But I'll have a look. Kinda depends if I can get a decent way to fix it to the bars

Probably better sticking to a live sat nav then if traffic jams is your main usage. Only thing an offline one is good at is it knows you are on a motorway and not moved or moved far in the past 10 minutes so will offer an alternative route. No good for trying to avoid it in the first place.

Went to the doctors yesterday to see what she thought of the X-ray and MRI (I think) scan I've had done at her advice.

#1The X-ray isn't available on the website it was available on a few weeks ago, no-one knows where it's gone

Not the end of the world the MRI showed inflammation so we're moving forward. She gives me a prescription for some physio and another type of scan!
I got my French friend to call the physio and make an appointment. No answer, so she leaves a message.

#2 She calls hospital for a scan appointment, she's told she must email. She sends an email. She receives a reply telling her to call them

I just followed a moped rideout down the A26 at roughly 10mph under whatever the posted speed limit was at the time. Helpfully they were evenly spaced out over 100 metres which on that bit of road meant no overtaking.

At least some makers use soft fabric ones but even decent Tattersall shirts can come with a 'neck scraper'.
