Can you send a proxy instead? Someone selfless enough to miss the Scottish summer and slum it in foreign parts.

Yeah, I know. Ironically, I feel slightly better today than I did yesterday, though two test yesterday showed negative. I've spoken to a couple of people who asked the same question as you: why did you bother?

I'm asking myself that now as I'm pretty sure that I won't be the only bugger on that 'plane with a touch of the 'rona.
Have you had all the jabs?
All jabbed up and fairly sanguine about the whole thing. Having it is an inconvenience, but having it now and missing a trip/wedding is just a ball ache. I know morally the right thing to do is sit at home, but part of me thinks, fuck it, just go.
Personally I'd be worried I could pass it on to someone who couldn't cope.

That's the punchline. An old friend in poor health after a stroke has just got himself a dose on top of his existing woes. He's not doing well.

Oh yeah, Koukounaries Beach  (Not that I'm much of a beach bum but it is one of the finest in the Med). Was there in a heat wave one Easter, just the 4 of us and a buff naked German girl getting an early all-over tan. Looks a bit more crowded in season. :(

Dropped it to about £110. Mrs M collects ferret and the bill is £170 despite being told the extraction was easy. We’ve been billed for meds that were billed as zero on the estimate despite a usage value being given. Queried bill to be told a nurse would ring me back. So far no phone call to explain discrepancy. It’s not the first billing error in their favour and checking previous ferret dental invoices it’s the first time we’ve been hit with these med bills. Its really annoying as they’re great vets but they really seem to be gouging every penny lately so it’s time to start looking for another vet.
How much is a replacement ferret?

A- Because it's my personal and the work phone, it has two sims. I could have and arguably should have put it on silent before the session started, but at the same time I shouldn't have to !
B- It wouldn't have made any real difference as people would still come and knock on my door !

You have to be all kinds of special to knock on the door of someone's therapy session (assuming they knew) to try and call them back to work.

The fact that the council workers have still not completed the straightening of the cycle track bend after nearly 10 weeks when they said it will take 4-6 weeks max!

I live an arms length away from the local cycle track and there is a corner by my gaff that is now deemed dangerous by the snowflake brigade even though there has been no issues there in over 40 years!

It's like living on a construction site and all the cyclists are trying to cut past the bollards by using my front lawn and moving the fencing!

Hopefully they will have wasted all the money on the works soon and i can have some peace and motherfucking quiet again...:)

Check national rail app earlier in the evening, trains running. Get to station and my next to trains to work are mysteriously cancelled due to a shortage of train crew and more trains needing maintenance than expected Fuck you Southern Trains !!

To be fair, they didn't know I was in a session. They do know that check in is 4 pm !

Put a notice on the door if it's likely to happen again. Only needs to be there for a couple of hours.

Or is it a rare event?

I may well do that in future. However the point of my rant/ whinge is, firstly, if there is someone you are trying to contact, and they refuse the call a couple times. Then they are too busy to talk to you right now and you'll have to fekkin' wait ! Secondly if person A at an organisation says "that's not possible" finding someone else to ask is a dickhead move !

So you understand that he arrived 2 hours early?
You understand that he was told very clearly that he was not able to have what he did not book?

When you have EG a doctors appointment, do you turn up whenever the fuck you feel like and mock their customer service when they won't see you?

No, I didn't think so.

Read the posts again poppet!
