This made me chuckle.
Whenever I was in M&S or Waitrose, the staff had a little bit of haughtiness about them in their posh uniforms. I'd imagine they'd not want to mix with the riff-raff at Lidl & Aldi.
But the staff at Aldi & Lidl earn more

Friday I went to an Ibiza classical night with my wife. I did nearly 40k steps.
Saturday I couldn’t walk.
Sunday I went to Mudeford. With the dogs. I went to the New Forrest for the first time.
Tonight my wife and daughter are at Wembley for Taylor Swift. I’m so happy I don’t have to go. I don’t care for her music

Huh. Count how often phrases like “seems to”, “has been associated with”, “may help to”, “has been suggested to” etc are used for each of the supposed benefits.
Pseudo research which people read and quote so often that they end up believing the rest of the claims and convincing others. BsMP. A bit like “up to 90%”, when it’s actually 5%. Grr.
I think I’ll have a coffee, see if that helps…

It's tricky being definitive with these things as it's impossible (pretty much) to eliminate all the variables. There is a danger of ending up with 'clever girls have big feet' science. But, I'll go with the general research trend and stick with my daily grind of half decaff (Swiss water method) and half 'fully leaded' beans.

Best birthday prezzy ever today.
For last 2 months my dog Elvis has been up and down. Lots of internal problems.
But the vets here are amazing and lots of visits, tablets and injections have helped.
We used to walk 6 or 7 miles a day but recently it's dropped right down. Most was 2 or 3 miles but some days only 400 yards.
A few times he was so unwell we thought we were losing him
Buy today my puppy is back. He was pulling on his lead and just wanted to go. So we did the usual 4 mile walk taking in the beautiful sea front. So happy to do this again as I thought it was a thing of the past.
Welcome back puppy boy

Best birthday prezzy ever today.
It's always heartbreaking to see an old, confused animal shuffling along, barely able to register its surrounds and losing control of bodily functions and mental capacity...but enough about you, good to see Elvis up and looking perky.

A while ago we were on Fuerteventura and saw a house with a map of the islands on the wall outside.
I instantly loved it and have been planning to cut out marching island shapes and make a map on the wall.
Today Penny just gave me these islands made out of volcanic lava. Absolutely stunning. So now planning their exact relative positions to mount them on the wall.
Happy boy here

Wanted to get it exact. So printed a map out and drew gridlines on it.
Then upscale the lines onto the wall. Then I knew exactly where to put each island
Next step is to paint over the red lines ;
Then Pen's gonna paint blue sea around each one

Be good if you could back light them, but looks like a bit of a ball ache given the size, etc.
Looks good, mind. Pen done well there.

She's very artistic so gonna give it a go. If not happy, just splash some more white paint.

Well today we had a good day/bad day.
Good day was finding out the Ren-0 cruise control cutting out is an earth related issue on the back light!
Bad news was we were supposedly taking the motorhome to Bordeaux to take our friend to the airport, but she developed what can only be described as a 'limp' en route, then lots of flashing cars behind us. Yep, the other rear tyre sidewall had delaminated, so had to turn around and crawl back. So up at 4am today to go to Merignac......might have a lie down now!

I love fish but always seem to over cook it. But tonight, I pan fried a whole sea bass and got it bang on!
