This was my 2 minute tweak in Snapseed (it's quite a simple app compared with stuff like Lightroom etc but it's not too shabby). Not too dissimilar to Hosses pic.



Cropping is always going to be a poor second to getting what you want in the frame to start with but it helps get the idea if you can go back and recompose the shot.

Did you get that SLR camera and lenses?

If so, see CS's note about cropping. You're better off, from the same viewpoint, using a 'longer' lens to fill the frame with the image that you want.
