I had a last sunny run out today,as the weather goes more unsettled from this afternoon on. It's been an absolutely brilliant Springtime,one of the best I recall.

Been on holiday all this week and it’s the first chance I’ve had to get out on a bike.

Took it for an MOT and then dropped by Abberton Reservoir on the way home. Done more miles today than all of last year

A cool bike,you should ride it more often.

Given the glorious sunshine, I had a nice impromptu scenic zoom across the local commons to Worcester for lunch and back.

The lunch was not impromptu, but taking the bike was.

Failed to take a photo, though there was one taken of my mate and his two kids sat on it

Beeston Castle and another and a pub. Still the bike that shouts loudest when I open the door.

I took the Street Triple out for a spin earlier,got some rain drops on the visor but I got home before the forecast rain started.
The country lane that goes over the old Cheshire lines railway line is still closed,not sure what they're doing to the bridge but the road's been closed since September..



I much prefer the quiet back lanes around here to the A roads,but at times the surface gets a bit 'challenging' on a road bike...



It makes a nice change going from the SV650 V-Twin to the 675 Triple,I just have to remember the difference in engine braking

Great ride today, left a bit later than planned but still on the road by 7.45.

Passed some lovely Essex countryside but picked this spot near Abberton for a pic as it was a convenient hidden pee spot


Got to be one of the best village names in England


Just the other side of Colchester I saw a sign for a cafe so dived in for a coffee. Turns out it was some kinda super car meet so I spoiled the atmos by parking next to a Lambo Not sure who bought a Smart car along!


After the short stop it was through Weeley and up to Harwich before following the river down to Manningtree for a bacon and sausage bap with a view


Ride there was great, back wasn't magic as did a bit of A12 but still a decent 150 miles all in. Peaks next week...looks like rain

128 miles on the mighty Enfield today, no pics. Old stores cafe near Mold, North Wales, very nice cafe. then Bala and a mountain ride home.

Sorned the MT and taxing the GS. RE stays taxed.

Motorrad run to Rannoch Station. 25 bikes which was more than expected but the roads we used were quiet enough that it didn’t cause problems. Intense tho, just corner after corner for a lot of it.

297 miles. The weather forecast wasn’t great but we just had a few showers

Was about to go out then remembered i have no MOT. Lube the chain and gave that side of the swing arm a clean. Well more to the point i sprayed it with brake and clutch cleaner and wiped the shit off.

I'm in shock.. The insurance on the F350, ZX11 & ZRX11 renews on June 1st. I have to provide proof of mileage over the past 12 months.
Yearly mileage:
F350: 4,622 miles (138,875 total)
ZX11: 534 miles (20,181 total)
ZRX11: 344 miles (123,915 total)

WTF??? This means I rode the ZRX11 to the Rockstore twice & took the ZX11 three times.

Is that part of the problem? If I only rode to and from the same place every time I'd probably lose my mojo for riding a bit.
