Ohh they were so close, a few more details and a bit more attention to detail and they’d be a perfect copy, however they’re perfectly usable and well made and for £35 are a good value pair of riding shorts.

2 pairs of Endura shorts at £32 each. I've been wearing their trousers over winter for a couple of years and they're holding up well so hopefully these shorts should last.

Well Mrs M's Levo returned from the LBS along with a bill for £634! 2/3 of that was a fork and shock service at SRAM, with the forks needing a new airshaft damper thingy and the shock needing a new tube as the original had a fat stone chip in it. All new frame bearings (one showed signs of thinking about spinning up...), some new wheel bearings and a gear adjust.
Hopefully a new frame or front triangle is arriving for my Evil next week............

TBH considering all that work and a usual cost of £125 per end for servicing, that doesn't sound terrible... it sounds a LOT... but in relation to the work then it's OK.
Mine was a RideWrap kit for his Boxxers.... they've had a bit of a life this year and they're showing wear, so will get them re-wrapped.

I've got a break down of the bill and it's just a lot of work all at the same time.
I point out to people looking at full suss MTB's that they aren't cheap to run..........

We've been lucky that this year he's had £1000 of servicing from TFTuned as part of his sponsorship, otherwise well, we wouldn't have had it serviced at all potentially.

Also purchased some AXS X01 jockey wheels as on stripping the Curtis down for BB service (@millemille that grease is bloody brilliant, a whole summer and barely contaminated and still spinning smoothly), I noticed that one of the jockey wheels was exceptionally wobbly...... They are the originals and have seen 4 winters so not bad, just an eye watering £65 for SRAM ones.

After looking at the state of the pivot bolts on Mrs M's Levo after its service, I've ordered a complete set/kit of bolts and washers and spindle. It's a 6 year old bike now so the Specialized custom alloy bolts have been in and out 1/2 dozen times by now and some have obviously needed a bit of heft to come loose so the allen holes are looking rather worn. I'd rather have the kit sitting in the drawer of spares at home than have to hunt round for parts for an old bike on the internet and possibly out of stock/rarer than hens teeth.

Two Albert radials for the Epocalypse. A Soft and Ultra soft as the Michelin on the rear at the moment is very worn and it's dangerous to mix radials and crossplys

(poor Apartheid joke incoming.........)

More for me, some new elbow armour. Leatt 3DF 6.0 pads. I’ve got some Troy Lee armour but it’s loosened a bit and keeps sliding down and ending up covering my fore arms which is irritating. Hopefully I won’t be testing them on Dartmoor in a months time.

New XX1 chain
New Uberbike E Matrix pads for the Curtis as the Sintered ones just don't have the stopping power.
New headset races for the Epocalyse as the original lower is dead - gone for a stainless steel enduro one which will be getting the "special grease" treatment before it gets installed.

Not for my bicycle, but i'm debating this.

50% just 'because' but also for Morzine later this year. At this sort of money it's not exactly a massive loss even if i gave it away

I've never owned a DH bike... Although i guess my old Bionicon Supershuttle was close.

Well confirmation that this finally arrives next week...
Already bought a few bits to upgrade with...
-Hope Tech 4 V4 Brakes in Silver
-SRAM 220/200 HS2 rotors
-SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical T-Type Transmission with 34T direct mount chainring
-Deity Copperhead 35mm stem in Silver
-Fizik Terra Aidon X5 saddle
-Pinnd 165mm Crank arms
Also need to decide which wheels I upgrade it with, and decide on bar rise too... I guess I'll see how it feels with the stock bars first before I commit.
Oh and got my Diaz Runt cartridge to fit to the fork too, and probably upgrade the damper with the new GRIP X2 too...

Having ridden the one we loaned not long ago, i'm sure you'll find it bloody awesome.

TBF, one of our lot has one and rates them very highly (for Morzine) but they do size up small. His is XXL and having ridden it it is large at best

Yeah the XL is about a 480 reach which is an L in most... I was worried about it being an XL but that works fine for me.
My only debate really is how much i'll use it, but i certainly think it's worth taking to Morzine even if we take the Session and a Fuel. But as we're doing the Euro Champs and need beds and gazebo etc, i'm not sure i'll easily get 3 bikes in for the trip LOL.
We've got Dyfi on the 17th, but he's out on Athertons most of the day so i'd arguably steal his Session for that..
But i would like my own DH really.

them 2 spinny wheels.
You get them generally from ebay/wherever, what makes you think you need one ?
