We have some friends in the ragtrade ....trendy small labels but it's all the same thing .
According to,them sizing is a bit random "what size are your 34 's?"
I know my size in Furyagan gloves and Arai helmets

Some new boots.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224148660887
£110 bargain, cos I'm a tight Yokshireman.
I've worn the toe out on the last pair, which were 46's and a bit snug, not tired a pair of 47's, but I'm sure they'll be fine, because they're they only size I can find at that price

I have no need for new gloves at the min, but some spare cash and my inner hipster are calling me. Keep cycling between - buy them, don't be silly you don't need gloves, buy them, but I've already got gloves, buy them.....

@KungFooBob Those TCX Fighter boots look awesome (and you got them at a bargain price!).
I nearly bought the Gore-Tex version of your boots but got a discount on some waterproof Alpinestars. It’s too late now, but I wonder if your TCX would have been the better boot.

My last boots were TCX S-Sportours, which I got for £99 from the CMC Outlet when they were discontinued.
They were lasting well, until I left most of the toe of one boot on the track at Lydden.
The boots before were Oxtars (which were the same company) that lasted three times longer than the A*'s they replaced. I'm very sold on TCX quality.

You can, or at least for my TCX boots, get magnesium toe sliders so they don't wear and don't spark either.

Now I know I made the wrong choice: no magnesium toe sliders

Not strictly bought, but I'm now the recipient of a full Rukka Nivala Gore Tex suit (I can't do the whole pic thing yet)
Wore the suit out on the job bike and it was very nice indeed. Stupidly expensive but the quality is absolutely way ahead of anything I've worn previously, textile wise. I have 6 weeks straight of bike courses lined up, so it's going to get a fair few miles of use this year. It's made my BKS leathers a bit redundant I think.
So, a quick update after the 6 weeks and many thousands of miles of advanced courses.
It really has had an extreme workout, very few (actually None!) dry days, especially the last 3 weeks. The rukka kit is very comfortable, warm and best of all, totally waterproof. Been riding in some very wet conditions that I expected some water to work it’s way in, but none at all. Very impressed and i just can’t see me wearing anything else. Still damn expensive mind you!

@Nordboy Thanks for a great update
If I was in your boots, I wouldn't be putting those BKS leathers on eBay

just yet. I was a Finnish fanboy and commuted for years in Rukka. But what put me off Rukka – alongside the price – was abrasion resistance. I witnessed a low-speed crash shred a high-end Rukka (despite the suit’s Armacor). Klim dropped Armacor for Vectran™ to build AAA-rated textiles. Rukka has yet to offer any AAA-rated kit, and it’s the last brand standing that’s using a legal loophole to dodge the latest CE standard. So, I reckon your BKS leathers have their place.
However, I guess your experience on the job means you’ve seen your share of crashes (and crashed kit) and have the advanced training to avoid them. And it must be nice to spend someone else’s money on your clobber!

Held leather trousers FINALLY turned up, this time a better size (ie I could get them on). They do zip together with my Held mesh jacket nicely but I'm not sure about the "fit" but I'll try them on the ride to work tomorrow.

Some Castrol chain lube for if I can't sort the Tutoro and an Oxford level 2 back protector for my Mondial jacket. Been using my strap on till now (stop sniggering at the back

) but given we are now in summer it's a bit hot so will get the specific one for the jacket. Smaller than I'd like but will just try not to crash to mitigate that!

It's a fairly large black one, yes. It makes me a bit hot in this weather I must admit

Wore the cheapo Aramid riding "shirt" for the first time yesterday - felt like I was wearing a T shirt so consigning it to non riding kit (thought I looked a bit of a dick in it as well truth be told )

Cheap and cheerful jacket for the SM. Removable liner, removable armour and only £50
Annoyingly I had to pay £15 for post and £15 in import tax! Though that still makes the jacket cheaper than anything I could have bought round here.

A pair of Lindstrands Macan single layer AAA-rated jeans turned up today.
Cut on the 'baggy' side, but they fit ok. Transplanted some Hiprotec into them* and they seem very comfy (need to trim the length a bit). Should be a lot more comfy than my old first-gen Hoods.
* the supplied armour is the 'solid-neoprene' type and you can feel them banging around on your knees when you're off the bike
