They do love sitting at the highest possible spot, don't they?

When we first adopted Joy she’d never been in a house before and didn’t know how to climb stairs. Glad we got past that.

Game changer.
No more getting up off the sofa multiple times a day to let Harry out.
And more importantly being waken in the middle of the night when he wants out.

If Harry is a cat, you know he's just gonna sit and demand the door be opened?? You are, after all, the servant!!!

It took a week but he’s using it.
First 4 days were sitting freezing with the door taped open and gently nudging him out.
Next few days he just sat looking at it for ages but eventually used it when he realised nobody was getting up to open the door.
He’s still not enthusiastic but uses it in the end.

My parents' cat is somewhat skittish and nervous, he's terrible around new people/people he's forgotten. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time was when he came flying in the cat flap, clocked me, then changed his mind half way through.

Extremely rare and silly price but more importantly narrower than standard bars so I can get it through the back gate. It was still a tight fit. Wunderlich actually do narrower bars but they hadn’t any in stock at the time so this was the next best solution. I searched the net and managed to get a NOS set off a random website for a bit cheaper.
Funny story.
The defining width of the 1200 (in the picture) was the Helibars so when the dealer dropped the 1250 off at my house first thing I did was take it to my neighbours garage across the road and fit the bars.
Rode proudly across the road only to find the new defining width was the engine bars …and it wouldn’t fit
So I still had to end up taking the gate off and getting a new one made.
When it goes in a couple of weeks the last thing I need to do is get it outside and swap the bars back so once it’s out it’s not coming back in again.

Our neighbour's car managed to get dusty paw prints on the vertical section of my car's boot lid/tail gate. I'm actually quite impressed.

Meet Yondu, 6 month old SBT, his first family had to move into accommodation that wouldn't permit dogs (I think financial crunch hit). He's very cheeky, has obviously had no boundaries set and was a bit underfed which Mrs M is remedying now.

Re: Have we got a 'Show us your pets' thread?
I have similar issues - a cat that likes sitting on vehicles and I live in a terraced house and the limiting factor for bikes to pass is the width of the alley way between the house. Any bike with a largest width of more than 875mm is a non-starter. I've reduced the width of the bars on the Duke 690 and the Falco to 680mm; that gives me a fighting chance of getting the bikes in and out without scraping bar ends or levers.Scotsrich wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 7:42 pmThose are Helibars.

As for the cat - four wheels or two wheels - he's not fussed...
