An actual MotoX event near me-only found out when I visited the local KTM dealer this afternoon.

My car flashed up a big red warning last night saying 'DPF full, visit dealer'
Looking online the red warning can only be cleared by a dealer forcing a regen and a Jag dealer is likely to go straight for an expensive replacement. I spent a tenner on a bottle of DPF cleaner in Halfords this morning and twenty minutes later the fault had cleared.

One of me old pals who used to be an Ops manager for Focused Events was on a little jolly with his young lady along from his home on South Spanish coast.
This morning, out of the blue she proposed to him (29th)
They got married at 1:00 and now in a posh hotel for their honeymoon
Go Barry

Guests have departed, leaving us €600 tip each and some very nice comments in the visitors book.
We have several days off now.
It's snowing !

Finally getting round to digitising the first vinyl album I ever bought - the Rolling Stones 'Between the Buttons'.
I bought this album as a teenager in 1967, the first one I'd ever bought with my own money, and absolutely played it to death for the next year or so; probably two or three times a day for well over a year. Consequently I knew it upside down, back to front and inside out. Then all of a sudden I started buying a lot more albums and this one got pushed to the back of the pile and stayed there. But for a certain period of my life when I was like a sponge, soaking up new sounds, this album was front and centre.
So listening to it again on modern equipment over 50 years later was weird. It was like a time capsule, transporting me back to sitting in my parents living room, playing it on their radiogram (remember them?) Back then I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Listening to it now I still have enormous affection for it, but you realise just how '60s' the production values were (Stereo was still a really new thing) and it struck me how 'English' sounding most of the tracks were. It has to be the closest thing to a Kinks album the Stones ever recorded. It also had a really amusing cartoon (drawn by Charlie Watts) on the back cover. You'd never see that again on a Stones album.
Next stop - digitising 'Let it Bleed' and 'Sticky Fingers'...

Remember that thing you used to do at school, when you'd ask the rhetorical question, 'What's got two thumbs and can >insert action here<?' and then point both thumbs back towards yourself with a smug smile?
Imagine me doing it now when I say 'What's got two thumbs, can still get a bone on
and still spaff his load, post prostate surgery when i was told it was very unlikely?'
I know. Gross, but I'm feeling quite pleased and relieved, even though since my vasectomy many years ago it's served no practical purpose.
