The more small boxes that are stacked on top of the big one on the bottom of the stack, the more honey they have.

4 boxes at this time of year is outstanding 👏👏👏

This was from yesterday. Watched this wee black ant dragging the dead wasp past our back door. Determined wee buggers are these ants.

Oh, and the red dot to the left in the photo is a spider mite.

On holiday in Spain, years ago, a locust ended up at the bottom of the pool. I dropped on the paving. A while later, the ants found it. Four of them grabbed one of the locust's legs and, working together, wiggled it back and forth (like you might the leg of a roast chicken) until the skin tore and they could get inside.
