About 600.

150 of them was at Donny.
90 of them at van drop off
80 of them on a Wilts ride...

Which means... i've not ridden a lot really...

Fitted the MoniMoto tracker today and wired the OEM grips in properly using the Yamaha heated grips loom that plugs into the main loom, rather than permanent live to the battery. Also found out the grips were set wrong using the guide below, so hopefully they'll be toasty in the winter.

Didn't get round to removing the rear wheel to put a mushroom plug in the puncture. Still not sure whether to just bin the dunlops tbh?

The trouble is they are, or were, brand new and I've not really had a problem with them. I just don't like Dunlops from back in the day. Originally, I did sort of plan to use them through the summer and put Bridgestones or suchlike when winter arrived. Just pricing up some tyres has made me think I shouldn't bin a good set of tyres though. Over £300 for some pairs!

I know it's painful, 360 fitted I paid. But the Dunlops on mine were utter tosh. If yours are OK then leave em, I hung on with mine as like yours they were brand new, but the difference in the bike is chalk and cheese from the rubbish Suzuki fitted

If they are those Standard new bike fitment of Dunlop 214,I can tell you what they are like in the cold and wet.

I liked the PR4s good tyre, to be honest I couldn't really tell a difference between them and the 5s on the 690. The tread wore a little funny at the end but to be fair they'd done 5k miles at that point. I think the 4s were about 50 quid cheaper.

Metzeler Roadtec 01SE are supposed to be really good but they were more than the 5s.

Factory fitted tyres are very poor version of the real (aftermarket) thing. Tyres built to a price and it shows.

You should remember the crap tyres we had in the 70s.

I've done many trackdays on original tyres.
They're all great. Bur don't suit all personal preferences

Yup them pram tyres were rubbish down Paddock Hill, I was only born in 1977!

My Father-in-law just said to me, "Above kicking a pair of tyres off now are we"! He nailed it really, saying kick them (Dunlops) off and bung them in the loft until spring. D'oh!
