Curious to see how that goes, both in terms of solving problem and also the electricity used.
I'll duly report, although @Tricky has the same model and has been using it much longer,so probably a more immediate point of reference.

Post here.

I've been actively trying not to pamper this bike but even so a 30 year old me would have told me to stop being such a fanny

Didn't need editing. If I can't see it, it's not a problem.

Got bulk of my work done by 1.30pm (start early nowadays) and it was dry. So out with cleaning stuff and bike and .... it starts spitting with rain

Chanced it as it was a 5 min wonder and gave the bike a bloody good wash and dry and then left it to air dry as much as possible. It's not Weeksy wheels out clean but it's a 2.5 hr decent job. I spent ages drying it too, must get a dog drier!

Image

In daylight the down pipes don't look too bad but have some ACF50 coming Sat so that'll get done Sunday morning if it's dry - Going to 44 Teeth's BBB Bavaria cinema thing in Guildford Sunday evening. Just hope the bike doesn't get too damp between now and Sunday, hope not! I've also covered the bike, I left it uncovered in the mistaken believe it might help the air circulation and stop too much damp but seems to have failed so might as well cover it.

Had sort of dismissed a screen but winter boredom and the hopes of some longer trips this year had me looking again. I had put this Puig one on my wishlist on SBS the other week but not seen it in the flesh. Found a few pics and I don't think it looks too bad on the bike. Like the bloke mentions I think the clear makes it less noticeable? But you lot are fashionista nazi's so what say you?

Although I will probably ignore you like with the top box :obscene-birdiedoublered:

It'd look better in a smoke grey or something. You don't need to see through it, being clear doesn't mean it's invisible. Wear your screen, like your top-box, with pride.

Same here - I reckon a dark smoke might actually look better than clear.

They do a few colours, my initial thoughts were smoke or dark smoke but then I wondered if clear was less noticeable

It's a screen, it's noticeable, get one that blends/complements rather than tries to disappear. The clear one just looks a bit meh. (To me :D ).

The clear does look less noticeable, which is just as well because it's an odd shape, Yoshimura do a nice but expensive screen for the 1000, my screen came from Thailand, wasn't as much as a Yoshi one and I like the shape, sadly only available in full tint, I'd have preferred clear, there's a French company that make a nice shaped screen, but they never replied to my emails so I have up on them.
