I was there on Wednesday and my route away from it took me through Weeksyville. That hill out to the East of your village is an interesting one isn't it!! But the heated grips play a factor as does the current weather which is remarkably mild. Yesterday was almost dry, today was basically dry so thought i'd play on the MT-07. Partly to see if i'd lost my mind yesterday riding the BMW thing and whether i could still ride a bike. Partly just because, well, why not.
was only 30-35 miles or so but the roads were better than i thought and with some planning it wasn't an issue in the slightest. Couple of sections where you had to avoid the muddy line down the middle of a lane, but nothing impossible.
Bike was great, had lots of fun... bit cold now... but happy.
Filled it up with Esso finest and it can sit there now till... well, whenever really.
I was on a bit of a mission and didn't want to impose on you. Yeah Fox is still there, i go through Hermitage quite often. My lad cycles in the woods just behind it regularly. Yup, still there and still active.
