Re: Car thread - which one?
I saw a t shirt like that a while ago which said
“My other car isn’t a Porsche”.
I quite liked that.

Re: Car thread - which one?
I’m for subtle, however, that orange gt3rs is the dogs bollocks. That’s the sort of bucket list car I’d want to own if I had the money. And tbh, fuck what anyone else thought. I’m not really into Ferarri’s or Lambo’s. But give me a nice Porsche or Ason Martin and that’ll be absolutely fine.
As for the shirt thing, I have a scooter, a Yamaha xmax, I also have a yamaha xmax branded hoodie, i’m 54 and i don’t give a shit. I know there’s many on here and previous places who bought bikes and then loads of same branded gear over the years. It’s common, and that polo shirt is very under the radar anyway.
Do it, and lots of pics etc (of the car, not the shirt).

Re: Car thread - which one?
Some time ago, when it was time to replace her car, I thought that the missus might like a Porsche. Didn't even get as far as a test drive. Got her sat in the driver's seat at the dealer and she just said 'Nope, don't like'.
I was a bit disappointed.

My missus doesn't drive yet... but already knows what she wants: an Abarth 124 Spider. I have no problem with this whatsoever.Count Steer wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2024 10:16 am Some time ago, when it was time to replace her car, I thought that the missus might like a Porsche. (well - apart from she may end up with an auto.

I suspect mine has had enough of 'sensible' already, so her next one may well not do 70mpg. However, being a woman, logic will play no part in it. Having declared the Porsche to feel 'lumpen', (which is hilarious from someone that had not one, but two Fronteras

Despite the Oz Racing wheels, we're in a whole new world of 'lumpen' there.
