Not sure I'm quite fat or punchy enough yet to own something like this, but it caught my eye and had me tempted for a minute or two- I know purists will likely hate it, but I quite like it.
It has obviously been loved by him and quite nicely done IMO as far as I can see from the ad, I reckon could be an interesting thing to have in the garage as an ongoing project with scope for further development/enhancements.

The immediate things that I would do would all be easy and pretty much for cosmetic/aesthetic reasons

1. Junk the current exhaust set-up and get the likes of Mark Hill or Phil Seton to fabricate a really nice custom full system for it
2. Replace the ISR master cylinders/levers with Brembo RCS or decent Nissin radials
3. Sort the clocks, it needs a matching pair of analogues IMO, and I'd probably go for Z ones, or maybe a set from an 80s 900FA Honda
4. Get some new prettier caliper brackets fabricated
5. Lose the blue chain and at least the rear sprocket, replace with quality gold chain and talon rear

After that, and getting suspension, etc sorted (if/as necessary) so it can really be hustled as well as a heavy old dinosaur like this can be, I'd maybe spend some £££ on the motor to get it really producing , dig out my old 1980s leathers and go and have some trackday fun on it

It's a ZRX1200 swingarm, I don't know why it's painted brown, it bolts straight into the Z frame with a sleeve round the original spindle.

If I were using a Bandit engine I'd move the swing arm pivot forwards as they handle better and the chain run is a lot better.

It was more the colour I was commenting on.

It would be higher up my list than the blue chain.

It's a cracking engine in my DT200R though
