When i was a kid I used to get my Mum to make me sausages and mash like in the Beano. So a big pile of mash with the sausages sticking out. Mum always put baked beans around the mash too. I'd chop up the sausages into little discs, then mix the whole lot together! :thumbup:

This thread has reminded me of that and i've probably not had that dinner in over 45 years, but I'm going to have it this week and with grated cheese on top to boot! :D

That just looks horrid. Swap the beans for a nice gravy then i would eat that.

No way would I have the patience to create that. I bung the sausages, beans and the mash on a plate and eat them in whatever order I fancy.
