My bro sent me a pic of my old SMC from probably about 2005 at the Ace Cafe. From the old Londonbikers forum

My Old 625 SMC from about 2008, I seem to remember back then the R version was kick start only.

Yep, SMR was kick start only.

I thought they were all SMC's?
640 SMC the most tame, commuter option
625 SMC little bit lighter/ faster, thrash around option
660 SMC the lightest/ fastest kick start only, racing option

Pretty sure there was a 660 SMR, but it was 20 years ago and I was a Husky fan boy.

Just for @KungFooBob , if you want them more scrubbed in than that, discuss it with @Tricky and @Couchy
The day at Donny was excellent today and the smcr was faultless. I stuck the suspension cintonSport setting and went out in Inters and it went really well, pully nicely out of turns and braking late into the next one. I actually passed 5-6 bikes in the session which is rare for me in Inters, but maybe more an indication vof the group than of me.
My lines are still at times shockingly bad, but the KTM went where I told it, despite it knowing better.
The QS blipper etc were completely faultless and never missed a change all day (or ever). The bike spent most of the day being ridden in back to back sessions with Couchy and Tricky both trying it.
Handling didn't give me any of the issues I was slightly worried about, it just went and stopped as it should. Awesome.
Overall it was a top top day with the Essex boys of @Paulo and @scottyuk making it too which was ace.

There's a good 10mm of shiny tyre

There's a good 10mm of tyre unmarked either side.
Blame then as much as me, they're way quicker. If that's as far as they're getting, that's as far as normal humans get.

I used to be able to go right to the edge of the tyre on my Husky, but that was 20 years ago, I'm too old and slow now.

I don't think either of those lads can be accused of being slow. On mine they didn't get passed by many in Inters. I assume it's profile related more than lack of talent

Probably, also at Donington I don't know if there are any corners you'd be at full lean on a Supermoto, maybe the corner back from the Melbourne Loop onto the start straight?
Took my Husky to Lydden, I was scraping the pegs in a few places, and I wouldn't count myself as fast, but I rode it on tarmac like an MX bike, squaring off the corners.
I couldn't find any Husky tyre pictures, but here's an FZR400 tyre picture, I could never use that last bit of tyre on the FZR

I did want to buy some pics, but the pics, angles, etc are just absolutely rubbish, all of them. The smcr doesn't seem to lend itself well to good shots either.
@Couchy pics are no better
It's only £8 for a picture, but seems about £5 too much lol

It feels a bit of a waste taking pics currently as I'm mostly using it for errands and hence ending up in shopping area car parks lol.

I've not experienced this 'too warm' on the bike as yet. I haven't even taken out the thermal lining in my jacket.
Anyway, you should be looking for Pagodas for the pic challenge.

It's good to see you enjoying riding a bike, I never got the feeling you really wanted to ride the MT07

I'm not sure my heart is in any motorbike as much as many of you. But there's deffo a place for a motorbike for me somewhere and this is as good a shot as any for that.
I really enjoyed my ride today, although it was bloody windy.
I think i can pressure myself too much to ride and enjoy it less because of that, if i just ride as and when, it's great.
