A Tracer 700 has got to be worth a try too hasn't it?

In theory yes. But I fancy something quicker than the 690. My mate's wife has a blue Tracer 7 and I think they look nice. But I fancy the extra of the 9.

I love them. Krazy Horse sell them and I have a longing look at them every time I go.

I thought they were a lot more expensive than that.
They are very cool (no matter what Cheesy says).

I would think me disliking something would make it cool, certainly seems to be the criteria my children work on

How someone can go from an mt09 to an Indian is beyond me.
It's like say "oh shall we but a new car, our choice are a Prius or a Mustang V12".

If the MT09 is a Prius, what does that make the 07

I'd buy an MT09. I think the Indian is cool though. I like all sorts of bikes.
I like Morgans and Mustangs if that helps. I also like Thai and Italian food etc. Can I only like one!

No but I don't equate food to bikes or cars
You could like a Morgan and a Mustang, but if you're sitting there thinking about a new car for a purpose I can't see how both would tick the boxes myself.
I like a lotus Elise, but I'm not buying one to carry my Mtb. That's more how I see it.
So an mt09 or gsxs, I get, they're a basis on a theme. But the Indian just doesn't fit for me.
It's your money

Depends what "the purpose" is dunnit?
If its just "be something I like" then Mustang, Morgan, MT07 or Indian might all suffice.
From my POV nearly any bike would be OK for me. Id consider a Harley or a Multistrada in the same purchase decision.

That's sort of it. As long as I like it I'm not too fussed which bike it is. Hence not having a fixed idea what I want. It odd I'll grant you, in the past I've always known what I want next. This time I'm not sure. As you can probably tell

Nah I get it.
The idea of a bike for a purpose is a load of BS from my POV. I'm not doing any one thing at a high enough level for it to matter.
As Couchy has so clearly demonstrated with Africa Twins and Enfields, trackdays are about how good the rider is and not the bike.
I'm not doing extreme Enduro stuff...hell I'm not even leaving tarmac
I think the idea of the difference between engine configuration is massively overexaggerated in people's heads, particularly for a road bike.
Etc.
So long as it doesn't cripple my joints or break down every 4 mins anything will be fine and worthy of consideration IMO. So thats the Bonnie out then.
