Purchased, hopefully they'll come tomorrow and I'll do a review after I've tried them - should be cold enough this weekend.

Doubt if I'll get them tomorrow, looks like J & S aren't going to deliver them next day delivery, which is annoying because their website say that orders over £150 will be delivered next day - so I've started the tedious process of complaining and hopefully getting some money back off them.

If you're happy with them, I'll have some as a Xmas prezzy. Can't think of owt else anyway.

I’ve got a pair of sealskinz heated gloves, use them on the motorbike too when green laning and they are superb.

But double the price.... not sure i wanna go in for £100 for a couple of rides.

Couple of my fellow instructors use those and remember we ride in all weather all year round, fairly warm and as close to waterproof as you are going to get but they will soak up after prolonged use for a couple of hours.

I normally just use normal gloves and heated grips .....my hands might be wet but they are warm and those Richa gloves are one of the few i was looking to buy for winter use

I bought a pair of Gerbing heated gloves for the wife.

She has arthritis in her hands and they get really cold to the point she often rides pillion with her hands in her pockets.

We haven’t tried them yet but along with the new textiles she’s got hopefully we can get out a bit more when I get my bike.

Now she wants a new helmet and boots

Woolich is showing 2021 MT07 as being ‘flashable’. I

It wasn't last week apparently according to Wiz.

Funny enough as i just checked my mail i've had a mail from them saying "FTECU are desperate for an ECU, would you send yours in and get it tuned for free?"

Any thoughts on that ? Theyre the same guys i used to flash my XSR900.

What improvements will the flash make ?? Is there any problems as it is ??

The 2 main things it gives is

1. Reduced engine braking
2. Slightly more midrange.

Problems, not as such, but it does have a LOT of engine braking and without a slipper clutch that means some of the downchanges can be a bit harsh if not spot on. I think (and others say) that the flash will make it a lot nicer in that sense.

Midrange i'm not unhappy with.

As you've used them in the past and I assume trust them, why are you on here and not in your garage pulling it off already?

Any warranty implications?

I like the engine braking on the mt, even without blipper.

I've been busy potentially buying a new car

I decided not to send it. A large chunk of it is "well what happens if...." and the IF in this scenario is, if they 'brick' the ECU, i'm left in a world of complexity.... There's also the warranty side of things i guess. Lastly and most minor is that the ECU modification and legislation of modifying does seem to be gathering a little momentum and may play an issue.

I guess if it was unrideable or terrible fuelling then my decision would be easier, but it's not.

I see they've change the wheel colour for the 2022 bikes...

So i'm eyeballing them and got the ruler (yes i know) out and measured, just about 20mm different.

Now i know the discs on the 21 are bigger than previous models, so i pings Couch a whatsapp to tell him.

"What have the discs got to do with the pillion pegs ?"
"WTF are you on about pillion pegs?"
"They're pillion hanger delete brackets"

Ahhhhh it all becomes apparent now

Takes it from 70bhp to 77-80bhp after a flash tune.

I wouldn't do it, modern bikes have properly designed airboxes (modern being almost anything made since 1985), why fuck the fuelling up for a hypothetical 7 bhp, if you want more power buy a more powerful bike.
