Waze sat nav app
bloody POS sent me through Annecy at 5:45 on a Friday eve, there's another route that avoids the city altogether !!

I prefer the first one but only due to appearance as one is as good as the other with free maps and free updates. Only downside i think is no POI's or speed cams in the free version.

Don't think you can use the speed cam thing over here - well, not legally!! Although I do see quite a few (non local) people suddenly slow down where I know there is a camera, so there must be a way/system!

I think you are right and i think Germany must have made it illegal also as the file for my sat nav software (iGO Premo) has not been available for a couple of years now.

Scratches on the corner bumper of my car !!
Caused by the lazy mother Fu**ers delivering parcels or food squeezing between the 2 cars on my drive instead of walking around the side!!! Pisses me right off!
I Purposely park them so close so they don’t do it but they still do!!!

This, I've never looked, at any forum I'm on.

I was knackered and just blindly followed and before I realised I was on the Annecy city slip road! I should have known the app was BS though as n the way there it tried to take me off one junction before the border, round some convoluted route on to rejoin "the way" just before you turn left over the top of the road to get to the Airport, I swear it must of added 20 minutes !

My wife is just home from a day trip over the border at Berwick. On the way home she told me she and her pal were blethering that much they missed the junction to turn off the A1 to come home. No matter we will get the next one she says. As its a few mile up the road they were still blethering and missed that also

Third time lucky and about another 25 miles later she is home

Bacj in the day, my aunty (notorious for terrible sense of direction) was coming to our house on Cambridge from her house in Surrey. On the M25 she missed the exit for the M11 North. You guessed it - she did another lap.

Nope.
A couple of bits went into the garage as rags, the others will make their way to either the local Guides or school clothing collection schemes.

Dark days with no sun. Days when I open the curtains and the room gets darker. It's Friday though, so I'll pull through - no need to worry about me. Enjoy yourselves.

Please! Go ahead and drink it for me. I'm going to put my thick socks and gloves on and have a hot chocolate.

Sheridan Smith, the actor.
I have no idea why. She's done nothing to annoy me, nor to offend me. Whenever she's interviewed she seems a rounded, wholesome individual. She's an accomplished actor, who has won awards for her craft.
So why I do find her so grating?

Bloody macBook ...... again
yesterday, despite being connected to the wifi I couldn't get onto any websites
No Problem, I thought, it probably just wants a proper restart. So I select restart. After far too long (probably only 2 minutes) it hasn't restarted and it tells me that it can't restart because Itunes is still running. WTF can't it close Itunes? I wasn't listening to anything anyway!. Ohh well, I guess I'll do it, select Itunes, select quit and wait...... and wait.....and wait. FFS all I'm asking it to do is close one little program, but noooo, it has to be a prick and not do as it's told. 20 minutes later I get hacked off, hold down the power button until the whole thing shuts down. Then I start it up again. Then shut it down again and restart it, after which it's fine
I can not understand why a little program like Itunes can stop the computer from shutting down
I can not understand why a little program like Itunes won't quit when I ask it to
I can not understand why Apple fanboi's think they are more reliable than windows machines !

Apple TV+
If you have an LG TV you can get 3 month apple TV free. File I'll do that then, so I download the app on the TV and it gives me a code to scan with my phone which takes me to a website.
I have to create an Apple ID,
So I do, and it sends me a code.
That code doesn't work despite trying multiple times.
I get another code. The same.
And another code.
And another code.
I give up thinking there must be a problem with the network or whatnot.
I try again in the evening.
Same thing with multiple codes.
I give up.
Later I have the idea it might be that I am doing it on my phone so I get out the laptop and try and create the ID there.
It tells me I can't use that email address (why couldn't it tell me that earlier).
I must have used it when I had an iPhone years ago.
I try to reset the password.
I go through the steps and then it tells me to go to my iPhone or iPad, neither of which I have.
So I can't do that, I have to use another link and they will get back to me which may take "several days" WTF!? Do they write all our passwords on a card index and have to send someone down into an Indiana Jones style warehouse to retrieve it?
I give up with that and try an new ID with an different email and all goes swimmingly until the end where I get the message to go to my iPhone, iPad or Apple TV device to activate the account. I have none of those of course. Ah, but they've got me covered there, all I have to do is to go into town to the Apple store where one of their geniuses can activate my account for me. Again, W T actual F!?
Fuck it! I can't be bothered as I only wanted to watch their Foundation TV show. I'll delete my new account. To do that I have to schedule an actual call with an actual human being, sat in a US timezone.
Fuck that and Fuck you Apple!

Lazy stupid inconsiderate neighbours. We have a food waste bin, a bucket sized thing for food waste. Every week, again and again she leaves hers outside my house in a position where residents of the 5 houses served by the footpath have to walk round it. Every week she leaves it there for most of the following week. I wouldn’t mind but how hard is it to pick it up on one of her many trips out and back she does in a day!!
I usually kick it down the side of her car but unbelievably she still leaves it there even though she struggles to get into her car round it.
Yes, I have asked her not to do it, she has ignored me. She is also a drain on the economy, not working, has 3 other people in the house quite capable of picking the thing up yet none of them do!!
