^ seems like a little over board on the Pro-Bolt catalogue - and the various hoses and fitting are gash. The paint job on the tank is nasty.

Would be an interesting bike to ride , mind

Well, it all seemed to work, sometimes. If that's his 350 it got a 4th in the France 350 GP at Le Mans in 1979, so it may not be as daft as it looks.

Never mind the front end,whats going on with the induction> Is that carb hanging loose or is that some weird inlet tract?

Anybodies guess! It appears to have carbs where carbs would be expected and I can't see the extra one on the bikes above.

Apparently he made a Kwak engined 750 too. Interesting chap.

That's not an early GSXR750 frame, and the reason they weaved was because they were extremely tyre sensitive, they were fine on cross ply Michelin Hi Sports or Metzeler MeZ1s, Dunlops (which they came on) were taking your life in your hands on a bumpy road.

Yes, should have read the blurb - it's a GSXR400 frame. Disagree that it was just tyre sensitivity - that's simply an excuse to try and mask a deeper failing. Suzuki pared back the weight as far as they could, and that was at the expense of frame stiffness. I heard this time and time again in 80s race paddocks.

I had a 1985 GSXR750 for 3 years, it was fine on Michelins and Metzelers, dangerous on Dunlops, people talked a lot of bollocks, the frame doesn't flex, you'll be coming out with the one about the wheels flexing next.
